  1. I would say so. It's sitting at $79.09m after a 3.9m (school holiday) week. Find it hard to see another $15m. Utterly incredible run though. Never did I expect a Top Gun movie to crack the all time list and ~$85m. Never.
  2. An increase?! Possibly helped by absolutely crap weather on the east coast and start of school holidays in NSW, but even then it's not a school holiday type of movie.
  3. This is a pretty fantastic weekend overall, having 3 films over $5m and 4 over $3m.
  4. A Jumanji film making more than a Star Wars film. Whoda thunk it.
  5. Jumanji crossed 41m and it's heading into a long weekend!
  6. Crappy exchange rate and school is still in. It was an AUD10m OW here which is pretty good for the time of year.
  7. That's pretty decent for a non-holiday animated opening. How does that compare to Frozen?
  8. Also.. thoughts on the Heath Ledger Joker connection to Australia having any influence on peoples likelihood to watch Joker?
  9. Could this be the one that outperforms the DOM 10:1?!
  10. TLK is going to cross AUD 60m here next weekend. Only the fifth film ever to do so, but the second time this year after AEG.
  11. Huge opening for OUATIH. TLK due to cross 60m next weekend - 5th film ever and second time this year!
  12. Is it impacting admissions though? Have we seen an increase in admissions but decrease in $$?
  13. A lot of HOYTS locations dropped all prices to $12. Ticket prices were just too excessive at one point.
  14. TLK still doing huge business here. 3rd weekend of AU6.3m, total at AU49.75m. Equivalent to 63m/497.5m in the DOM market.
  15. TFA 11.8m so possibly number 3.. still incredible.
  16. One of the biggest ever 2nd weekends.. might even be #2 after AEG's 13.6m
  17. MPDAA says AEG is at 85.25m http://www.mpdaa.org.au/customers/mpdaa/mpdaa.nsf/HistoricalBoxOffice?ReadForm Dat 10:1 DOM:AU ratio.
  18. First 5 days in Australia at AU 24.75m.. equivalent of $247.5m in DOM market.
  19. Hey @Rthroar how is 2019 BO tracking against last year?
