  1. Crossing all my fingers and toes!! I want both Avatar films to be the exclusive $100m club members!
  2. It will be tough in my view. TGM made another 29m after a 5.3m 5th WE. It was going into school holidays at this point. Finished with 93m. On the other hand, TFA made another 9m, after a 2.99m 5th WE. Same release timeframe, but definitely a more frontloaded film. Finished with 94m.
  3. How is $100m looking for TWOW after these figures?
  4. It would take some pretty hefty drops for TWOW to not reach all-time #1 right?
  5. Great article on TWOW box office (and the other movies that are apparently running) https://if.com.au/bo-report-avatar-2-continues-swimmingly/
  6. Great list, thanks! Out of curiosity, where do you get your data from?
  7. Even Thu-Sun being completely flat is $8m. It’s dropping possibly sub 25% from a record 3rd weekend.. wtf is this anymore!?
  8. @charlie Jatinder any insight into Friday 6/1 and what the weekend is looking like? please and thank you x100 😃
  9. Looks like we’re in for another biiiiig weekend
  10. This is genuinely like watching A1’s run all over again. I cannot believe what we’re actually seeing here!
  11. Even 50% drops guarantee nearly another $20m ish AEG is gone.
  12. Sometimes I really struggle to see another $40m, but then you come along and do a comp like this and it just makes sense. It’s wild that RO drops still get to $76m. I really don’t see how it misses $90m now. A year with two $90m+ releases - whoda thunk it?
  13. This is not the run I was expecting after OW numbers came through. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - incredible.
  14. So who thinks TWOW will enter the all-time Top 10 by close of play Wednesday? Needs to be around $55.3m, so $4m Mon-Wed. I think it got there yesterday. On a slight side note - it means Bohemian Rhapsody leaves the all-time top 10. I find it unbelievable that it made it there in the first place considering the genre. One of the greatest, most unexpected runs we’ve had in a while.
