    Your numbers show it is a family film. If its playing a lot better on weekends, it's definitely appealing more to families.Either that or people are just choosing to see it on weekends.

    I have a good feeling about this movie. Actually a really good feeling. It's something that might appeal to people in the masses, being about love and all that shit, and disaster. It might just bring people together.I'm going really really big. A lot bigger than anything ever before.For now, and I could change:$600M DOM$1.2B OSI really hope I'm close on this one :S

    Don't really see the issue here. Clearly based on Mondays and Tuesdays drop it is playing different to not only past Marvel films, but also previous summer openers.I think we need this next weekend to determine whether or not it's actually in a free fall or if it is a family film and weekends are prime.CTFD people - it's still going to make a fcuk load of money.

    Don't think we have any OD data for it. But it opened the same weekend in 2009 and did:AUD4.7m OW / 16m TOTALGiven 3D, I would say STiD needs about $19-20m to at least improve on ST09.

    Nope. I've only seen ST09 and this. I was (thankfully) forced to watch ST09, but prior to that thought Star Trek was mega nerds.
