Movies are also have abnormally bad legs this summer so don't count on it following TF3 yet.

Great read, it would make sense if they have some contractual bonuses if it's over 100m OW, but lying about numbers is lying and they're caught in the act with Rentrak.

Dragon 2 was fantastic, I still liked the LEGO Movie better (Even after re-watching it last night) but I think the LEGO Movie is a pop-masterpiece.

Yeah, I think if you answered yes to the will there be a 100m opener question it should still count, but if you answered no it won't be wrong either. Given the sketchiness of the number.

Except most the theaters it doesn't get the money from are small arthouse theaters that don't play Transformers.

I'm not fed up with the number, I am fed up that Paramount thinks its okay to lie about a number because they think it matters. So what if your movie grossed 97m instead of 100m, report the actuals. When numbers say actuals I would like the actuals and not a studio lying to have a more impressive number. Mainly if Paramount gets away with lying about a number now, other studios will try to do so in the future. And if you are lying about your stats there's no reason to even follow them anyways.

Same, I was gone for two weeks and am still getting settled again (I don't know why I am leaving for business in Chicago in a week) so I haven't gotten to catch anything. However before I leave again I plan on catching either Snowpiercer, 22 Jump Street, Edge of Tomorrow, Jersey Boys, or Tammy.
