  1. That's quite optimistic. I don't think that the market is so abysmal. There is forecasts like this one for Russian market, and some experts believe that they are completely wrong and market will stop growing after screen count hit ~3500 mark(x9 for China )...
  2. Ekinobilet gives 2.316m for Sunday, total: 5.35m for the weekend versus Disney's 7.8m. So, in future we can plus ~45% to ekinobilet numbers to see result close to actual. I think they also wanted to give Carrie more space, and Thor itself, because 2 weeks before HG, like in US, is not enough.
  3. They probably don't know, that in Russia Thor normally could do 14m+, and total will be over 30m anyway.
  4. So, ekinobilet numbers are off by a light year. 7.8m is pretty good, not great, but quite well. And the main question remains, will the formal OW beat the preview OW? I still think it's not gonna make it. It's snowy today:
  5. Yep, i totally overestimated, and i thought i was underestimating, lol, that's why kinometro didn't even try. Well, ekinobilet shows $1m 886k for Saturday. Total for now: 96.8m RUB/ 3.01m USD. Currency 1 USD = 32.18 RUB This numbers is may be nowhere near actuals, but 7m for the weekend is the top.
  6. Actually, he did, i watch F1 since 2011 because of him, as many others, interest raising dramatically, actually; Russian Time, Marussia, Russian GP, Petrov, Kvyat, Sirotkin(probably won't be in F1 next year though). Sponsorship - yea, that's not so easy, but that's the other thing.
  7. Awesome news, i'm so happy, Daniil Kvyat wins GP 3 championship, next year he will race in F1 for Torro Rosso, can't wait.
  8. Great result for Thor, remember that it's not just previews, it's also only late and midnight showings for Thursday.
  9. Shouldn't be, there were plenty of showings in normal theaters. That's ok) So unjustified, i'm happy with 1,5$ cheapest ticket(average less than 10$) in a theater with screen bigger than most of the LieMaxes, 2 3d projectors, hfr, etc.
  10. That's what i said...) You misunderstood? Thor's OW was 6,6m btw
  11. This is a very special situation, even with Monday 14m is really strong expectation, 30m was sure thing long before, it's not about start, it's about legs.
  12. That's ok, with Friday should be well over 2m
  13. Don't know how close to the actual numbers it is, but ekinobilet shows $125k for Thursday late-midnight screenings.
  14. You can expect what i said earlier, looks like "kinometro" knows less)) Actually, i'll increase to ~14m for whole preview, and at least 10m for the weekend, there are many midnight showings tonight, some of them are sold out, so i think even that might be low.
  15. Funny seeing gif from Russian channel here
  16. It looks like Thor getting all IMAX screens, and not only, very, very wide "preview", so this weekend is pretty much OW, next weekend it'll fall, although there is pretty much nothing coming out.As for Ender's Game, anything above 3m+ OW will be surprise, there is huge possibility of not making even 5m in total.
  17. The Wolf of Wall Street release set on January 1st, 1,5k+ copies, maybe it will win in this bloodbath(8 very wide releases)
  18. No, i watch everything in best quality available, i'm just so demanding. But that's ok, i guess, for ~150m movie.
  19. Russian dubbed trailer is already out, you can wish for better visuals, though, i wonder if they will spend more on last two parts, i hope they do.
  20. It's a min. mark... http://forums.boxoffice.com/index.php?/topic/3024-russia-box-office-stalingrad-ahead-of-iron-man-3-unbelievable-but-true-soon/?p=1073024
