  1. Not unwatchable but not very rewatchable either, IMO. I honestly appreciated how they tried to mix elements of the first 2 films together, but it's easy to see why some things got lost in the shuffle. Action isn't very thrilling (but at least it's serviceable) for the most part except in the climax when John Connor lets loose on Arnold. Now that part I liked. Arnold as expected is great as the Terminator. The rest of the cast except Simmons were pretty much just there. 6/10 I guess?
  2. Well, Godzilla & Pacific Rim weren't exactly run away successes (though profitable in their own right) and Kong is very much a wild card. Let's see how their respective movies do first.
  3. More updates from The Numbers Cinderella cume: $4.5M Mad Max cume: $2.2M from $500k opening. (The Numbers might be reporting this wrong..actuals should be closer to $1.2M) Spy cume: $1.088M from $297k opening. (Another possible error from The Numbers..$688k more likely) Tomorrwland cume: $2.46 from $928k opening.
  4. Various updates over the past few weeks, courtesy of press releases, Deadline, The Numbers, etc.
  5. Don't think so. Toho (the company that owns Godzilla) hasn't been very keen on intercompany crossovers lately.
  6. I know right? Amazing Btw did you watch the film na?

  8. But...but without admissions, no one could watch movies in the first place
  9. Ever since joining the forums on Thor 2's opening weekend I've been eagerly yet patiently anticipating a true event like this one. Simply amazing feeling and so glad to have witnessed it with you guys.
  10. Couldn't have said it better myself! That's the kind of scene that gets a great WOM going.
  11. Just realized that Colin Trevorrow's first studio film is a $200m monster. Wow...just wow.
  12. Seriously, the T-Rex stepping out of the shadows is probably the biggest "HOLY SHIT!!!" blockbuster moment in recent years
  13. Kong: skull Island will break the OW record.. You heard it first here
  14. If this ever happened.. EXACTLY. Its like all technological advancements in film are measured by how well they portray monsters, robots, and the like on-screen. Asgardians would shake in their boots if they ever saw a kaiju
  15. If superhero films were to ever make way for creature features.. I'd be totally down with that
  16. Its like the Jurassic park series was made to give us so much awesome gifs
  17. Would the more plausible reason for the lower gross be mixed reactions or stronger competition like Pitch perfect 2? Plus, from deadline: EDIT: Never knew JW was going to be this huge... I know people who went to three malls just to get a showing
