Definitely not, I would say TASM2 is almost uncharted territory, Spiderman is definitely no slouch but who would have thought 10 years ago that Iron Man would sell more tickets than SM in NA?TASM2 has as much chance of decreasing domestically as it does increasing, the release date is really good, but WOM I've been hearing is mediocre for TASM.
TASM will need to gross about 300m to sell more tickets than BB.Why are you guys getting so upset over a couple of posts comparing BB to TASM? They are valid comparisons, you guys can get uptight about nothing sometimes.
Every film has 'haters' as you call them. Clearly he doesn't want the film to do well which is well within his right.
Kayummangi Lincoln: Hater Hunter.
Well anything below 600m OS is still really disappointing, factoring in the popularity of 3D, Spiderman and inflation OS it should have made 700m+ OS but it won't, the same thing can happen to The Hobbit, the fact is people lose interest and Spiderman just isn't that popular or relevant at the moment compared to something like TDKR/Batman.
It will make a profit and is a BO success but so was Pirates 4 but nobody should say that Pirates 4's domestic performance was 'good' it just did the job in an underwhelming fashion.
The fact is this reboot is too early and not needed. And I'm glad it is performing below expectations domestically and WW.
I don't mind all the threads because someone has to eventually make them but all being created at one time pretty much pushes all BO discusion happening in current relevant threads back 3 pages. And no threads should be made for TH2 just like Avatar 3, only the next sequel in a franchise should have a thread.
The bear smoking the bong guaranteed my admission and probably half of Australia's 18-25 year olds.Ted is the definition of a good marketing campaign leading to huge BO numbers.
I don't want to gloat yet, but I think my 550m prediction was the lowest and will possibly be the closest. This thread is a hit when TDKR outgrosses TASM OS.
