  1. I don't think extensions matter that much. Sometimes it seemed in the old CAYOM that we rushed years along.
  2. I have Rivals and Imperceptive done, haven't done much for WoW or Subway Nest...WoW I hope works out. I went with a human-centric story, I think having humans playing a main role is important, people might be turned off if humans are a small story.
  3. Rivals is done... might be lacking a bit of action, but I didn't want to overdo it, this is just the first part

  5. Rivals is finally being worked on, about half done or so
  6. I just put up an idea based on the birds that nest in the subway near me
  7. Subway Nest Genre: CGI Comedy Cast: Jason Segel (Marcus), Zooey Deschanel (Lisa), Christopher Walken (Balthazar), Jesse Eisenberg (Lars), Paul Rudd (Charlie), Seth Rogen (Mike), Kristen Bell (Lucille) Directed By: Mike Mitchell Release Date: 8/31 Theater Count: 3311 Budget: $75 million Running Time: 1hr 39m MPAA Rating: PG for thematic elements, fantasy violence, mild language Plot:
  8. I can help with that... I've made a few ads for pages. Try to target pretty specific groups I think, not just "box office"
  9. I will as well, maybe some fillers next week. I have a good idea for some of my Year 3 plots already. I wish I had saved my Rivals series from 2006-2008... it was a pretty good fantasy, but I guess I'll start from scratch there.
  10. Rambo - First Blood Part II was #1, in its third week#1 New release "The Goonies"
  11. I fear my "Imperceptive" may sound too much like Moneyball, maybe a new director could fix that
  12. is Moneyball completely done in theaters, or can it come back if it wins oscars despite not being boring enough to win?
  13. I'll hopefully have mine finished mostly this weekend. I tend to wing it more than some of you
  14. I tend to put mine in spoliers, even if it's just four or five paragraphs.
  15. D'oh. I posted all of mine on the same post, but it seems most others are making separate posts for each film
  16. This was a nice year, since things weren't established. Would have been better if I made an oscar film but I guess I did not.
  17. Yes, it's my Facebook picture and I connected the accounts.
  18. Maybe I'm bitter, but I wish something other than crappy horror could do well early January
  19. I am glad Interconnected managed nearly 500M WW on 80m budget, definitely good for a sequel :-)
  20. Legend of the Red Dragon is slated for a Year 3 release, based on a BBS Door game from the early 1990s. It will incorporate mostly elements from the original LORD, without as much from LORD 2. Liv Tyler plays Violet the Barmaid, with Michael Anagarano and Mila Kunis as two adventures working together/competing to defeat the Red Dragon. Jason Segel takes the role of Seth Able the Bard, Jeff Bridges is a bartender in the forest tavern, with Cillian Murphy playing a lowly trainer.Other roles are yet to be assigned.
  21. Sept. 21 - Imperceptive I think WoW could win, if I take the plot seriously and don't just slap something together that looks like LOTR with WoW characters in it
