So what happens with Disney when Star Wars 9 ends,Marvel slows down and there are no more old animations to remake? And then there are the Fox properties.Sure Avatar Will help them remain at the top for some more years but what’s beyond that?The year when another studio gets one of their movies at the top of the yearly box office is not that far away I think.

Anyway, I think there is a chance that Joker will do something crazy like 600M OS-Ch.Add at least 250M from the US and HOLY SHIT

And funny thing is that OUaTIH is actually based on true horrifying events and yet it’s held to a different standard by the media than Joker.Anyone could tell things like “it glorifies violence” and “can be dangerous” for OUATIH but nope...seems some critics have a short term memory loss or their hatred for Jo,er comes for a very personal place and not from a cinematic perspective. P.S : I love both movies

Also it had a 70% increase in Italy and it looks set to overtake F8 OW and there is a chance it will overtake Beauty and the Beast as the 3rd highest grossing opening weekend of all time there. It’s also breaking out big time in UK considering the ER and that it is Rated R. SK,Mexico and Spain are also amazing.I think Joker might beat Venom’s worldwide opening as well.

IMO,Joker being a success was written in stone ever since the film was announced with a small budget.Sure as things were confirmed left and right it seemed even more of a surefire hit, especially when Joaquin Phoenix agreed to play the role.But still that doesn’t make the sequel inevitable.I still think that Phoenix would need a lot of convincing to commit.

With a 32M Saturday (which is awesome) of it follows.. Venom-97.8 It 2-91.2 Logan- 96.5 Between Venom and Logan is where I think it will land.

It could still hold well in Sat/Sun and barely make it to 100M.Still the OS numbers are crazy.It’s playing like a big PG-13 blockbuster.

Gotham is a unique world that can be depicted as the shithole that it is but still make an accessible movie around it.The idea that Reeves is making a noir Batman film has me beyond excited but I know that they won’t ever let it be Rated R and make it a “DC Black” film.That being said,I hope to god they will push the limits of PG-13 as much as they can. As for it being connected to this Joker...I would obviously love to see Joaquin return but we all know that’s never gonna happen.But your idea of another Joker is actually a good one.I was actually thinking about it but in this world Bruce has some good 20+ years before returning to Gotham and becoming Batman.Buy then Joaquin’s Joker will be an old man.

A political drama where Lois Lane tries to uncover how corrupted Lex Luthor, who is the mayor of the city is.The film takes place before Superman makes himself known to the world.Could tackle drugs,trafficking,racism,violence. Both Lois and Lex have are such great characters that they have a great story to,tell.With a great script this film could really work I think and be another great addition to the the DC Black label.

So I read the plot points.Not everything because I didn't want to be entirely spoiled.It's nothing that better editing (the film is long atm) and reshoots can't fix.Some generic things I read about the first and last act sound very cool.

It could.Estimates usually go up from DHD's early numbers and Charlie did say that he was kinda conservative with his 40M Friday.But he also said it could go either way.
