He is no worse that the Hemsworths and the Pratts of the world.Sure these guys may MAY have more charm but,for starts,they were given the chance to show it and (b)it's all they have.If Anything,August Walker is a character that was their intention to be stiff.If you want to see a more animated,charming and more playful performance by Cavill go watch Man from U.N.C.L.E. which is really underrated.And for all the problems that JL had,Cavill was still very charming as Superman there.Hell he has even done some good dramatic work on The Tudors.Sadly,his work there has been lost among his sex scenes.

Whoever gets to play the villain in ghe next one he has to grow a moustache.The moustache is the real villain of the franchise.

So i saw all the shitstorm in here and i thought the numbers came out and MI6 underperformed but...nope...

Saw it.WOW.Velieve the hype guys and go watch it on the biggest screen possible.It's a monumental achievment. Honestly it should be celebrated as one of the best action movies ever.Just insane. Story was servicable and you could see the twist coming from the get go,if not the trailers,but it was still a good,well-constracted and well-paced story and the cast was amazing,the stunts were next level,cinematography was breathtaking(they are rhe real heroes honestly)and McQ has soldified his place as one of my favorite directors.I really hope the rumors are trues and he does MOS2. Which brings me to Cavill.Absolutely terrific.Since Superman i was always rooting for this guy and he did an amazing job as Supes imo but here you get to see another aide of him and i hope that some of the elements he brought to August Walker he will also use for Supes.Like Walker is the exact opposite of Supes but Supes could use the bad-assery and charm and wit that Cavill showed in spades here. Also huge shout out to my two crushes aa well.Basset and Ferguson are always top notch.And they are also terrific here.As always.I could honestly listen to Basset speak and do her thing for days without getting tired. 9/10 and best movie of the year so far.

Kinda lost to all the comic con and trailer mayjem is that this will be scored by the same dude that scored Blade Runner 2049 and IT.Both of these music had a terrific score so hype is getting even bigger after the awesome trailer.

I get what you say about Todd Philips but i feel the release date was very indicative from WB.It obviousky jas the potential so WB takes no risk.I mean it's a 55M Joker study film.It could open on any summer weekend ,save IW2 and SM2,and could work as counter programming.IMO it's not the movie itswlf tjat has the potential but Phoenix as the Joker,who will make or break the film.Like i won't be surprised if the only nomination it will get is Best Actor.Honestly,weird as it sounds this should have been a David O Russel film who is a master of character driven films.

It's not like they are doing any better on the big screen...marvel movie,save IW,seem like tv movies when it comes to cinematography and in many cases production design and look.SS and JL are not pleasing on the eyes either.Say what you want about BvS vut at keast it was a gorgeous movie imo.Scenes like the superman question ,Warehouse fight,Metropolis fight,Superman vs Doomsday and the final 10 minutes are something else.

lol no with a55M price tag and WB's marketing team backing it up,a Joker film,with THAT title,won't flop even if it's terrible.Hell i am inclined to believe that its ow will be in line with its budget or not more. Joker is a character that is known and loved around the world.People will check it out no matter what. As for affecting WW8...idk...on the one hand it's a comic book film and it could saturate the market to the point that auiences won't have the crave for a cbm so close.On the other hand,it's a 55M character study not a typical cbm and WW is an even bigger phenomenom now than she was 2 years ago.And honestly the only audiences that overlap with these 2 films is males over 18. DC could pull special screenings showing both movies... And i can totally see why WB would want this releasing in fall.It has potential to be an oscar contender (as least Phoenix)and it could really benefit from the oscar buzz...

I smell a release date bump coming...

I really feel that i may be the only person in the entire world that hate anything i have seen from the movies so far,sace character design.Even Hardy who i love as an actor. But everyone and their mom is excited so i am expecting huge numbers here...

The question here os if this can retain good legs throughout September,If it opens to 70M i think something like 230 is very viable.But a bigger opening would also make 300M a possibility.The franchise deserves it.
