Ugh just read a comment from somebody expressing disappointment with Brie's character. I hope that's an oddity.

These movies always do well. I couldn't bring myself to watch the last one but I'll see this.

The Beauty and the Beast embargo also drops March 2. That might take away some press for this film.

At what point do Stone and chazelle get worried? The academy allowed a lot of voters in last year, maybe this is why there have been upsets.

Stone will get actress, affleck will get actor, chazelle will win director, Moonlight will land best movie. Obviously Viola will win supporting (too bad she didn't go lead, it would have been more interesting).

No doubt it was a good movie but I can understand the criticism that Stone will probably win an Oscar for a musical and she can't dance or sing. That goes for the film too. This is a situation were a film is going to be awarded because it makes you feel good, not necessarily because it is stellar filmmaking.

CITW is one of my favs. Can't wait to see this one but I have to find it on a local theater.

It's a good movie but I don't get the hype. That being said hype will land it oscars. Years from now people will be scratching their collective heads as to why this was a fad.

It looks good but I honestly can't afford to watch movies every weekend. I want to watch Logan, B&B and Guardians. The rest will wait. Brie and Tom don't have the drawing power to make me spend more.

This is an indie film. If it gets a wide release it'll recoup quickly. It won't make a massive amount of money. -

The first movie was one of my favorites. I hope the sequel doesn't diminish it.
