The belief that an actress can only play roles that support what she believes in real life is insulting and incredibly limiting. I can't believe that there are those who can't separate movie characters vs real life. How dare she play a character that isn't socially acceptable. I think those who hate her social equality campaign have their claws out.
Hopefully it is good. As for critics, I personally don't let them decide what I like especially if these reviews come from a festival like Sundance or TIFF. Every movie is omg amazing at Sundance and TIFF.
That hair deserves its own billing. The humor feel flat and was that intro necessary?
The biggest question is how well Fox can handle another flop. What's the budget on this? Has to be less than F4.
He's had a really bad month. F4, Esquire, Chazelle & LaLa Land stuff. He does have that movie with Jonah Hill coming up. That should help him bounce back. He seems to want to be a leading man. I not convinced he is but that could change.
Nomination? Doubt it. The trailer bored me to tears.
Harvey is busy battling rumors his company is having another financial crisis. If he's counting on this movie and No Escape to help his fall revenue period then good luck to him.
Based on what is being reported this will start filming in Sept or October which is why she couldn't do The Circle. The rest of the cast should be filled out soon.
