  1. I dunno, Joker definitely has a lot of passionate fans already (not talking about forum members or DC nerds, like actual critics and Venice attendees), and it feels like a movie that has all the stars aligning for it box office wise. I'm not predicting a Best Picture win, and I'm currently on the lower end as of now, but it feels like Vice where it can get in just through a passionate voter base.
  2. @captainwondyful I love you, but you don't have to react to every post I've ever made.

  4. Homeboy saw the Joker thread, knew October 5 was gonna be a problem, and peaced out of here. Legend. Nah but fr, we'll miss ya, ya crazy pasta man!
  5. You weren't missing much. Just a couple of "Those SJWs and Feminists don't get it UwU" and "We all know the real reason Black Panther got nominated"
  6. I still think Zootopia is the best thing Disney Animation has made in their current Revival period. Also easily top 10 and maybe even top 5 for Disney Animation period for me, so those sequel reports better come true.
  7. The lack of hype for It 2 (Anecdotal! Could be wrong! Don't Winona me Kenny/Horror of Lucas Films) is probably one of the most confusing for a sequel in a long while. Grindelwald and Pets I was able to see about a month or so before release, and in hindsight I could have seen the signs even a couple years ago. I called Dark Phoenix to bomb spectacularly for a couple years. But this has just about everything going for it, and...no one in my social circle's really talking about it?

  9. Anyway, using the 11M Deadline posted for the 4-Day, that puts Good Boys at 58M, which is on par with Hitman's Bodyguard at the same point in time. Hitman's Bodyguard increased on the 3-Day, so that really shrunk the gap between the two. It'll have to hold really well the next couple weeks to cross 80M.

  11. I think we found our actress for the movie.
  12. I didn't even know this was coming out until I got a trailer for it in front of Peanut Butter Falcon. Hope it's a good one.
  13. Happy to see Disney has a winner with this. They really needed a W this year
  14. https://variety.com/2019/film/box-office/dont-let-go-box-office-thursday-night-1203319126/ LOL at this being up for two hours, and no one bothered to make a new thread

  16. It's just something Disney does. No matter if there's a milestone or not, Disney always expands their Pixar movie. Just an odd tradition they have
  17. I dunno, when I search "ad astra" on Twitter, most of the reactions seem positive? Maybe it's because the algorithm is doing it?
