  7. Yes, they'll have IMAX on that date. But it'll only be for 5 days, which isn't really going to help either movie, since they were filmed with IMAX cameras, and want to get that premium money for as long as possible.

  9. Of course the Grand Poobah of "big hits that left no cultural impact" is definitely Secret Life of Pets. It made almost 900M, but I don't think a soul has ever talked about that movie once 2017 rolled around. Even Alice in Wonderland has the other Disney remakes to still keep it fresh-ish in people's minds.
  10. Zootopia also feels one that weirdly came and went nowadays. Grossed way more than Moana in the same year, but it feels like the latter is way more popular nowadays. Then again, Moana's in the Disney Princess canon, and I guess 5-year old girls who love princesses are a bigger demographic than furries.
  11. I'm like a year older than you, and I haven't heard anyone talk about Hunger Games in ages. I've seen a whisper of Twilight here and there, but not Hunger Games
  12. To be fair to Avatar, the sequels haven't come out yet, they'll have the Disney machine behind it, and the Disney World rides still had crazy long lines up until the parks closed. I also feel like the new Jumanji movies might bank on nostalgic 2010s kids in the future. The Disney remakes probably fit under Hunger Games too, if they count as a franchise. They make billions every year, but I feel like nobody talks about them 9 months after they come out. Look up "Beauty and the Beast" at Target or the Disney store, and almost all the merch is based around the animated movie.

  14. My best friend and I love to trash Glee all the time. I guess Two and a Half Men fits the deal. It was big when it came out, and the Charlie Sheen/Ashton Kutcher fiasco made headlines all over the world, but nobody ever talks about the show anymore, and I don't even know if it's airing anywhere. I see more of Mom than I do 2.5 Men.
