    X-Men will be front loaded but it should be able beat Captain America. I'm seeing it in six hours so hopefully it lives up to the hype. Godzilla is likely being affected by X-Men's opening, still a solid number considering the competition.

    The drop for Godzilla is fine, right in line with Captain America and whilst it won't have as big a jump on Friday the holiday weekend will make up for it. At the moment I'd say Godzilla will make about 230m.

    Pirates 4 is awesome, Jack Sparrow dresses up like an Indian and helps a new Will Turner to save the west from people just trying to make themselves richer.

    Star Trek did 6.76 with a bigger drop from Monday.

    Basically the same number as Captain America so it's very good.

    That's a far better drop for Godzilla than Star Trek last year and it's basically the same Tuesday number as Captain America.

    JP was one of the first real blockbusters I ever saw and I loved it, I still do, but it has flaws and the fact that I can still love it despite those flaws is proof to me of how good it is. This is also how I feel about Godzilla, I know it has flaws but those flaws are nothing in comparison to the movie as a whole.

    Why would he fight Godzilla. Godzilla only causes destruction accidentally, Superman's the one that was deliberately throwing people into working gas stations.

    I actually find it interesting that people would use Jurassic Park as an example of a better movie than Godzilla. They both have a lot of the same flaws and in some areas I think Godzilla is actually better. I like JP but its success was due to it having never before seen effects, if they released it for the first time today then it would be getting the exact same criticisms as Godzilla.

    The movie If it doesn't deserve to be called Godzilla then none of the other Godzilla movies should be given that title either.
