  1. Does anyone have crowd reactions from SMHC? And what trailers did they show?
  2. I severely underestimated WW domestic box office performance (predicted $278 mil dom $725mil ww my hope is $800+mil). It's probably going going end up at $345+mil and might be good on worldwide box office though. I'm so happy that Wonder Woman is such a success!!

  6. Read my post again, I know that now lol. Those (BATB and F8TE) were predictions I made in February. I kept those so it looks as I wasn't cheating.
  7. Updated and final predictions after seeing a few trailers (TLJ, T:R, The Mummy, etc.) 1. STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI - $824mil/$1.79bil 2. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST - $475mil/$1.12bil 3. 8. Yeah it's definitely hit $170 million domestically maybe by next weekend or several day after. Really phenomenal for a small horror movie like this.
  9. Do you guys think it has a chance at $175m million domestic/$200m worldwide? That would be amazing for a horror film.
  10. I like most of your predictions but you're really, really underestimating Captain Underpants. I think it will make 4 times that much on opening weekend. I'm really curious to know why you only think it will make 16m opening weekend especially when there's no other animated films that weekend?
  11. Yeah, that's what most people said about Secret Life of Pets too. We will see.
  12. Yeah you have some points, but I don't think Cars 3 will increase from the last movie because of the unfavorable reviews. Despicable Me 3 will hurt it some but I think CU will have the benefit that it's something new that kids and adults seem to be excited for. I stick to guns with my prediction though. We'll see!
  13. This will pass Split tonight domestically to become this highest grossing Blumhouse Productions movie. This crazy for a first time director and well deserved.
  14. I am even more confident that my domestic prediction will come true. I have this at $336m. This will surprise like Secret Life of Pets and kids will love this.
  15. Hey I'm curious to see where you guys think the top five films will end domestic box office. I'm thinking... Beauty and the Beast - $479mil Kong: Skull Island - $187m Logan - $224m Get Out - $178m The Shack - $64mil
  16. WEEKEND OF MARCH 17-19, 2017 1. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST - $139.74mil 2. KONG: SKULL ISLAND - $23.76mil 3. LOGAN - $21.09mil 4. GET OUT - $16.66mil 5. THE SHACK - $5.93mil 6. THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE - $4.75mil 7. THE BELKO EXPERIMENT - $2.92mil 8. BEFORE I FALL - $2.14mil 9. HIDDEN FIGURES - $2.10mil 10. JOHN WICK 2 - $1.25mil
  17. Since AVATAR is out of the picture. I will readjust and update some of my predictions. 1. AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - $675mil/1.61bil 2. HAN SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY - $512mil/$1.01bil 3. JURASSIC WORLD 2 - $465mil/$1.23bil 4. INCREDIBLES 2 - $403mil/$1.03bil 5. BLACK PANTHER - $364mil/$834mil 6. READY PLAYER ONE - $351mil/$789mil 7. DEADPOOL 2 -$329mil/$874mil 8. DR. SEUSS' THE GRINCH - $292/$678mil 9. MULAN - $287mil/$1.09bil 10. AQUAMAN - $268mil/$764mil
  18. There's no report yet but EmpireCity gave an update a few pages back that Get Out did $8.7m Sunday which is about $2m more than estimated.
  19. Get Out got $4.95m on Tuesday according to Deadline. If true, this is truly a phenomenon. http://deadline.com/2017/03/get-out-tuesday-box-office-jordan-peele-1202032826/
  20. Yeah I didn't notice but yeah that is stunning. It did 1.85 last Friday! I wonder where La La Land is right now.
  21. In Domestic order. 1. STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI - $846mil/$1.96bil2. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST - $475mil/$1.12bil3. JUSTICE LEAGUE - $454mil/$1.09bil4. SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING - $378mil/$945mil5. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2 -$364mil/$987mil6. FATE OF THE FURIOUS - $347mil/$1.35bil7. DESPICABLE ME 3 - $345mil/$1.14bil8. CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS - $336mil/$833mil9. THOR: RAGNORAK - $295mil/$756mil10. THE DARK TOWER - $286mil/$697mil 11. WONDER WOMAN - $278mil/$725mil Okay, I know these predictions are little bold. Especially Justice League, Captain Underpants and The Dark Tower. I just have a feeling these will break out if they're received well critically.
  22. Hey everyone. Where do you think Split, Hidden Figures and La La Land will end up domestically. They are all holding on really well. I think Split will finish around 155mil. Hidden Figures holding fantastically will complete its run at around 190mil. La La Land with the help from the Oscar will probably end around 175mil.
  23. Hey, anything is possible. I'm trying to make bold predictions here. Avengers: Infintity War is the culmination of everything Marvel has been doing for ten years. With ticket prices increasing every year, I believe it may get there.
