  2. More like his PR and Studio head honchos shoved him back in the closet...since he has not 1, but 2 mega movies riding on his ass.
  3. Please post this masterpiece on twitter, the influx of millions of likes/favorites alone will push Amazon/IMDB to reestablish BOM ASAP.
  4. http://boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?sortdate=2014-10-07&p=.htm TMR increased 30% with $832,468 for a domestic total of $75,029,215
  5. Well if that's the case, then that increase is good. I don't follow horror genre enough to know it's daily grosses, so thanks for the info.
  6. That's barely an increase from Monday's gross of $2,308,284.
  7. Good weekend to weekend drop for TMR. $16.5M down from $27 M last weekend with no new opening is very impressive. With $192,395,000 aleady in the bank and with many more big markets to open, $350M WW is a lock.
  8. Good OS start for GG. I wonder if it can come close to Fincher biggest OS hit "Se7en". And where is TMR OS update...I need my TMR fix now.
  9. I'm looking at Saturday's estimates, not Sunday. I think Saturday's actual will be much less than what the estimate indicates. I could be very wrong, or i could be right. JMHO.
  10. http://boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/ Looking at the daily estimate for the top 2 movies, Annabelle will likely have a much harder drop once the actuals # comes in on Monday.
  11. Does TMR have any new opening this weekend, or are we only getting results from holdovers?
  12. http://deadline.com/2014/10/gone-girl-annabelle-left-behind-box-office-844782/ UPDATED FRIDAY 11:01 p.m.,: Fall continued to rebound from a dismal summer as Annabelle and Gone Girl broke to healthy starts at the box office, ballooning some projections for Gone Girl above $35 million for the weekend. Both R-rated movies collected $13-$15 million Friday, with the early nod going to the Conjuring spinoff as horror fans prefer Friday night viewing. Annabelle collected a healthy $$14-$14.5 million. Annabelle‘s opening suggests the New Line flick will best projections with a three-day haul of $30-33 million. Gone Girl, meanwhile, could be fall’s first hit. It, too, collected $12-$13 million, which could put it on course for $35-$38 million, well above Fox’s conservative estimate of $22-$24 million. And with an approval rating of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, word-of-mouth stronger for the David Finch-Ben Affleck thriller than it will be for Annabelle, as older audience are more likely to read reviews. Both earned “B” grades from CinemaScore. Gone Girl’ And ‘Annabelle’ Sprint From Gate, And ‘Girl’ May Have Legs: Late Night Returns
  13. http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=mazerunner.htm The Maze Runner passes $100 M OS!!! Total Lifetime Grosses Domestic: $61,084,787 37.6% + Foreign: $101,558,185 62.4% = Worldwide: $162,642,972
  14. That would make this the third movie to open to over $30 M in a row. Quite impressive.
  15. I just came here to say, never change (your avatar) CJohn, never change...Le sigh.
