  1. Wow, you people don't like cool stuff. This trailer looks cool. That is why it is doing so well.
  2. The KA trailer just surpassed 10m views on FB and 18m on YT+FB combined. It is doing very very well. Still well ahead of Doctor Strange or Kong: Skull Island (both with around 14m combined views).
  3. Lol. Be serious. You want an example of the continued, cross-generational popularity of the Potter franchise? Take a look at the weekly Top 3 Children Series on NYT Bestseller list. The series ended 8-9 years ago and it is still there. I don't think it ever dropped actually. Been in that top for almost 400 weeks straight.
  4. I am very curious about a comparison between Strange and Arthur and before you start throwing mud at me listen a bit. BOPro still hasn't added WW or Arthur to their Twitter and Fcebook live feeds for some season but both Strange and Arthur are adding the same number of followers on Facebook every minute: 13-15 (yes, I actually sat and waited and counted). I have no figures for Twitter till BOPro will realease some and I don't know how to get them, unlike with Facebook. As for trailer views, Arthur is actually running well ahead (8.3m-ish combined FB+YT views) vs. Strange (3.8m-ish FB+YT). Now, the Arthur trailer was posted 15 hours ago, while the Strange one - 10 hours ago. Plus, this is Strange's second trailer and Arthur's first. But even so, it is surprising to me that they are even close, let alone with Arthur winning. That might be either a good sign for Arthur or a bad sign for Strange.
  5. I see that in the King Arthur trailer they only put the yea (2017),not the month. So I hope they move it. The trailer is doing better than Kong and I don't want to see it flop.
  6. So the V headed for another 44-45% drop. This one has been going so steady lol
  7. The trailer for this is exploding and the reaction seems very positive. It already has 3.6m views on FB in less than half a day. That is the second biggest of all trailers WB relesed yesterday, only behind WW. In comparison, the first Tarzan trailer has 7.5m views on FB, up until now. KA will beat that by tomorrow. On YT, is only behind WW and JL. It is beating Kong on both FB and YT by far.
  8. I am so glad I'm not the only one! This just became my most anticipated 2017 title!
  9. I seriously don't get some of you. What was wrong with that trailer. It was really unique but it looked great.
  10. Trailer being shown right now. Warner UK had 4 private videos. One was Kong, this will be the second, Beasts the third and I think Dunkirk the fourth.
  11. Actually, I'm more excited for Fantastic Beasts, Dunkirk and Arthur than for DC or Marvel.
  12. Is it weird that I am so anxious for an event taking place thousands of miles away (Comic Con)? It's like Christmas Day. I am sooooooo excited.
  13. Nice! Not my favorite, but it is the best spy series out there. Yeah, I think 2B will happen for WB. Like you said - Lights Out + current batch = 1b Suicide Squad 360m (just like Deadpool - and that is really low balling it) War Dogs - 70m Sully - 70m Storks - 130m The Accountant - 70m Fantastic Beasts - 300m My personal guess is that War Dogs and Sully will over perform and reach 100m, while SS will clear 400m. Warner made 2.1b DOM back in 2009. I am thinking 2016 might set a new record for them.
  14. @Ethan Hunt, is your avatar from Bourne? Does that mean we finally have an anticipated movie in common?
  15. I have the best taste around here when it comes to movies. That's why I bash on everyone else's taste. Yours included
  16. It means that social media wise (which is pretty much the only thing WE can track), where Deadpool was a phenomenon, SS is making way bigger numbers (we talk here FB, Twitter, YT+FB views for trailers, promos). In fact, SS is outpacing any movie ever released on social media. It's total promo materials views are higher than any other movie, and that is before it even got released. BO.com just made a Twitter comparison for this past week and it is so far ahead of any comparable title (Deadpool, Civil War, Ultron) it is ridiculous. Of course, social media is dominated by the younger demo, but even so, for this to defeat established franchises like Avengers or Star Wars, while not being a sequel, is amazing. That is why it seems to me that 100m looks like a joke. As for the GotG comparison... well, there's really no comparison. It's numbers look pretty pathetic compared to the SS awareness/hype.
  17. It is PG13 in the US and I bet kids thinks it looks cool. And yeah, some parents will refuse to see it, but most won't. Let's be honest - the PG-13 rating was given to a lot of disturbingly violent movies lately.
