  1. Here (OW/Total in admissions): BvS - 128.687 / 303.798 (x2.36 multi) Deadpool - 118.149 / 354.982 (x3) Civil War - 87.146 / 209.323 (x2.4) BvS holds the record for biggest OW for a CBM (and the 5th biggest OW overall), Deadpool is the highest grossing and most attended CBM, and Civil War has the highest opening for Marvel, but also the worst legs by far. Thinking SS will open over 100k admissions. I still don't know if it gets to BvS/Deadpool territory. Any opening over 100k is hard to gauge.
  2. Lol, you tell me? Like, this is selling out even in the locations that never sell out. It will have a huge huge OW and I think the lack of competition will help it have better legs than BvS and CW. Not hrd considering both of them had horrible multis.
  3. Yeah and smaller countries are doing the same. Here and in Portugal it is looking at either record breaking numbers for SH movie or in any case over BvS and CW. I'm really curious about Australia. If it follows the trend then US is likely to break out in a similar way.
  4. Did Suicide Squad get definitely rejected, or are there still talks? I know it's a small chance, but usually we get confirmation when a big movie won't be released there.
  5. That's awesome! Both of those prediction would beat BvS and CW.
  6. Any offcial forecast for SS seeing how it opens today in Russia? I know Insidekino usually has very accurate forecasts.
  7. PRESALES UPDATE: - Suicide Squad is opening this weekend, with previews starting today and it looks to be massive. Presales are huge. I'd say we might be in for another 100k adm OW, but I don't wanna jinx it. Still, 50.000 adm looks like a safe bet. On a funny note - there's this theater in Bucharest, Sun Plaza, that almost never sells out. There were maybe 5-6 movies, uber blockbusters, that ever sold out shows there. SS is close to selling out in said location - The Secret Life of Pets also opens this weekend and it too looks great. In fact, it looks busier than Ice Age 5, which opened with over 60k admissions. But for now I predict over 50k. Either way, we are in for a very strong weekend.
  8. Wasn't Inferno the top selling book of 2013 in the UK?
  9. Well, asa lot of people said, WB is not risking much. Legendary is. And is that 190m after taxes and rebates?
  10. How is Universal getting to 1.5b and how is WB ending up with so little? Like, seriously, give m some estimates because that is just not adding up. WB will be closer to 2b, just like this year.
  11. This is starting to look like a two-men-show. It will likely be Disney and the only other studio that has a chance at challenging it is WB. The rest will be far behind. And looking at 2018 the difference between the Big 2 and the rest will get even bigger.
  12. Lol, seeing Tarzan so low and thinking that it had the second leggiest run for a live-action flick behind CI this summer. How did critics messed that up so bad??
  13. Lights Out is already at almost 64m WW with UK, Germany, France, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Japan and a bunch of smaller markets still left to open. Should get to over 150m WW on a 5m budget.
  14. No, because it's presales reports done by our members in the tracking thread put this non-sequel movie quite close to CW/BvS. But I am done talking about this. If you people want t predict 110-120m for this you can be my guests.
  15. Suicide Squad - 190m Jason Bourne - 24m ST Beyond - 10m Bad Moms - 10m Secret Life of Pets - 9m Nine Lives - 6m Lights Out - 4m Ice Age - 4m Ghostbusters - 3m Nerve - 3m
  16. Lol. My SS prediction will come true so no. And SP is doing great numbers on social media so...
  17. And update on the Suicide Squad presales? I think Dory not doing so well might help it to some degree.
