You honestly expect a producer to come out and say publicly regarding one of their contracted employees that they only hired her because she's Chinese? I don't disagree with you but it is not the same as a game where everything has been created artificially, this is talking about actual people

Yes Kathleen Kennedy should have come out and said "we'll fix it, we'll remove her from The Last Jedi, it won't happen again" and then re-edited the film and fixed it for all future versions, Lucas-style. That's one of the best things about this one. It has the least running away from dinos out of the 5 movies. This one is more different. Maybe good different, maybe bad different, but i promise you it does make an effort to try something new.

Not necessarily true. A big factor of the kiddie oriented ones success is there is much more rewatch value in the films that aren't for adults. Minions for instance kids watch it over and over again. You don't get as much of that with the more serious/adult stuff like Inside Out. That's actually a good comparison - here, Inside Out was a huge hit with adults (all the times I saw it the audience was pretty much exclusively adults) but Minions grossed a lot more. Anecdotal but in the cinema I worked in, in the later weeks of IO, Minions was still keeping up with IO ticket sales, despite Minions being released 5 weeks earlier I think. Families will take their kids to see the same film several times and they're gonna go with whatever film the kids enjoyed more.

What? BP does not need fudging over AIW. IW is 50M behind BP and is impossible for it to beat BP.

It's not going to happen. Shrek 2 will be king for decades. The only animated film that even has potential to beat it is the lion king next year and I personally don't see that happening.

What weird arguments? That it's well directed? That the action scenes are thrilling and tense? That it has real stakes? These things are good reasons to like the film. I've seen it twice and enjoyed it even more the second time.

How do you get RID of the Twitter widget is a better question. It takes up half the screen which is fucking annoying. Especially annoying since all the tweets posted by boxoffice are posted in the relevant numbers thread anyway. Yes exactly. The women pushing for diversity and whining about how much their lives suck and discrimination etc well I don't agree with them but I'm fine with them having their opinions. I'm not fine when people start saying that males opinions are not wanted etc

Theres some good stuff in Tomorrowland but it doesn't work as a complete film. Feels like there is another hour missing from it. Waste of time
