What? I swear you had Road Warrior as one of your best movies of all time in that list a few years ago right? I know you like Fury Road (so do I) but you do think RW is better right?! -
Apparently they don't get any better share from ticket sales. Even though its made by a Chinese company and was filmed in China. No, I don't understand it either.

lol you got me. But no seriously, Martin was the only person in the movie that I believed actually existed in the same universe as this one. all the other people in this movie were ridiculous and couldn't buy into any of them. whereas I've known plenty of Martins in school that were proper creeps.

It's not that I don't like this type of sci fi. 2001 is one of my favourite movies of all time.

War of the Worlds on TV. Spielberg is a genius, this movie never fails to amaze me and terrify me, even though I've seen it 10+ times.

Okay well I guess I understand you. Weird rules though, why would your parents not allow you to have people over? I mean you're 18 you are an adult now... that just seems utterly bizarre. I can't really understand it for under 18s anyway but that is next level of being protective or whatever their reason is. can they not stand the idea of you grown up?

I didn't mean anything against you sorry. I just like talking about it, because I think its box office run here is extraordinary and it's something I've never seen before. It has been so ridiculously successful. It's made £40M here which is roughly equivalent to $400M in the US. It's just overtaken Jumanji and has plenty more left in the tank!

well it's not out here in the UK yet for a few weeks so hopefully I will find other people who also dislike it, it's a very lonely feeling ya know. I'm aware that most people have loved it but that is part of why I dislike it so much, because it's sad that this low quality level of filmmaking is enough to capture the emotions and hearts of teenagers nowadays. people should demand better from this type of film. but because they haven't seen any other teen movies they think this is some sort of miracle movie. they deserve better.

I have a couple questions. 1) Why didn't you tell your neighbour that it was your girlfriend's car? 2) Failing that, why didn't you just tell them it was a friend's car, or family's car or something? 3) If your girlfriend is old enough to have a car, why are you not old enough to tell someone you have a girlfriend? 4) Why is your neighbour even concerned that a car is parked on a road and why is he trying to be the Parent Police? 5) Why would your parents dislike you having a girlfriend? 6) How old are you now mate? All this stuff is pretty childish, no offence. If she is your girlfriend you should be proud of her not trying to hide her away, especially not to your fam I do empathise slightly though. My ex gf had a similar thing where she would have to tell her parents she was with various friends, each time she was with me. She wanted to avoid her parents knowing about me at all costs. She got into some pretty strange cover up stories especially given her mum called her like every 2 hours. But, I think that was fair enough as I am a grown man and my girlfriend was 16. Think her mum and dad would have probably tried to kill me or get me arrested or something. I'm not sure you are as justified as she was.

Black Panther is ahead of Avengers at this point in its run and Avengers had 60M left in the tank. Would be very surprised if this doesn't beat Dark Knight.
