  1. Racking my brain and can't think of any lines from that movie. Except that rat at the end who shouts "I'm THE UNDERMINER!" or whatever he says. as for my list, Guardians of the Galaxy will definitely be on there, love love love gotg.
  2. Yes. The movie is comparatively tame and very very generous to Tommy. It's not surprising he said in the past that most of the book is not true, and then when the film came out he said it is 99% accurate. I thought it was a really good book too, glad I read it, the first book i have read in 5 years.
  3. Life of Brian showing at a cinema near me... sounds good. Then I go to pay for the ticket and it's £14.10 ($20), that's before you have to pay £10.80 ($15) for parking because there's no free parking in the city. Why is everything so expensive... whereas new releases that come to local multiplex, I can watch as many as I want ($25/month), and free parking. Feels ridiculous to pay this much to see an old re-release.
  4. So many Peter Rabbit sellouts near me. knew it would do well but if that £6.8M is true that is nuts. Also have noticed quite a few Game Night showings selling out in various cinemas, it must be having a nice little run.
  5. what do you mean? Like hiding explanations and having surprises like the Luke projection? Or what
  6. Pacific Rim is awesome and incidentally a lot better than Shape of Water. And del Toro didn't even have to steal anyone else's ideas to make Pacific Rim.
  7. Why would it? It's a pretty small film that's lucky to not be straight to Netflix Fun fact: Gnomeo and Juliet holds the record for highest grossing film that grossed under 100M, at 99.967M
  8. Doesn't really matter... If it profits as a result of China, that's a win. There's an interesting article from Mr Mendelsohn about the potential of PR2 - saying there's never before been a tentpole-budget sequel to a domestic flop before. If it turns a profit, it could lead the way for some interesting sequels being greenlit. For that reason alone I'm stanning for it... But also because I loved the first one. Really hope somewhere I can find a double bill. I only saw Pacific Rim on a fairly small screen the first time round.
  9. Sorry @Mike Hunt I didn't mean to be condescending. And yeah pretty sure it will be RPO. I would go to the cineworld unlimited showing on the same day but it's 3D only and I can't stand 3D.
  10. Glad you liked it. Well worth watching in a cinema if you ever get the opportunity.
  11. What did you think of The Room, @Jake Gittes?
  12. bear in mind 40%+ inflation since 2008. I just googled that and that is actually stunning.
