Well well well...no nobody saw this coming. Pixar as a brand has become synonymous with Disney+. Families prefer to watch animated movies at the comfort of their homes. That event feel is sorely lacking nowadays in animated movies and Pixar is no different. -
Really? Looks interesting. The cgi is wonky, but if it is a 80 min long movie with intense scenes then this has potential.

Wasn't there an interview with 3 directors attached to this franchise? Gareth wasn't in it, but Kong, g2 and gvk guys talked about these films.

Pete's Dragon dude is on the list as he has good relation with disney and most versatile among young filmmakers crop List contains directors with 3-5 films under their belt either critically and/or commercially successful.. The kong skull island and gvk dude are on the list as well..hell even Duncan Jones is there..and believe it or not..Trank...on the list for shits and giggles...if marvel is feeling ballsy and wants a redemption story...why not?Pretty sure under the creative team of marvel , he may end up making more than a decent movie, which was sorely lacking under fox/kinberg joint. There are 20-25 directors on the list...some seasoned ones as well..Oscar quality ones ...not sure they will be interested unless they get money for their passion projects

I think this can do Free Guy number worldwide if the reviews are great and the later marketing is on point.

Wasn't this designed to go to HBO Max? I kinda doubt this will look like a theatrical experience movie unless they boost the budget.

I don't think this movie is going to breakout OS on opening weekend. It will have good legs though. Domestically, 400+ is happening.

Is this movie rated R? Else I don't see the point of that nude scene. Either go all out or don't. I want some nude goddesses too in this.

There is no denying that the Mission Impossible series is the best action/spy franchise ever produced. The level that goes in making this film. The last couple of films have been absolutely insane. This will be glorious on IMAX.

115 minutes like GvK. Good. In fact, GVK could have been better if they trimmed some of the human stuff.

Disney & 20th century studios dropped the ball as far as dropping the trailer on YouTube channel. Hell, there should have been some kind of global announcement for this trailer, yesterday. Just dropping it like it is some small indie movie is kinda weird.

A lot of people have watched the trailer with Dr Strange 2 worldwide. Isn't it concerning that the sequel to the biggest worldwide box office hit of all time did not trend on twitter last 3 days?

I doubt this gets a China release. That and honestly if it gets a release, they should release it day and date I.e. December 14-16.
