    Nowadays, the average Indian cannot afford to go to a movie theater. Also, piracy is rampant in India. People are willing to watch shaky cam latest releases. In fact, they feel proud of having watched a latest movie on television or laptop without having to pay for movie ticket.

    This is going to be a mini Warcraft at the boxoffice. John Boyega is really overrated. All the hype around him is because of being in the star wars franchise. He was great in TFA but meh in TLJ. Attack the block is still his best. He needs to somehow get a MCU film (blade!) to save his career because the next one will be last one in the core trilogy. With that gone he will have nothing to fall back on.

    Looks like a great survival/disaster drama movie. This guy made Everest which is seriously underrated and deserved better fate at the boxoffice. Hopefully, this is a nice little hit for everyone involved. I want him to get an opportunity to do his passion Viking project.

    I think in the Simon thread I once said it will beat TR on opening weekend. Looks like that will happen. Funny thing is that I actually liked TR a lot so it would be kind of a bummer if it completely flops.

    Joe Wright bounced back with The Darkest Hour. Now it will be her turn with an Oscar bait film. I think some filmmakers work best with a low budget. Nothing wrong with not being a big time director.
