  1. I really liked: Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows Courageous Thor Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (guilty pleasure ) Source Code Kung Fu Panda 2 I also liked the following films, but was dissappointed. I wanted to love them. Captain America: The First Avenger Winnie the Pooh Transformers: Dark of the Moon Cars 2 The other ones I've seen: Gnomeo & Juliet (ehh) The Eagle (ehhh) Rio (ehhhh) Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil (eh)
  2. This. Like half of the movies from 2011 haven't even been released to DVD/Blu yet. I've seen 12 films from 2011; the only ones I didn't care for were The Eagle and Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil.
  3. Why do they not include the top rentals in my city, too??
  4. SH2 and MI4 both have crossed $100M... something to hang our hat on. Chipmunks will as well, and maybe Tintin, War Horse or GWTDT?Uhgh, this holiday season just hasn't had very many breakouts. >_>
  5. 2012 = potentially the greatest year of movies, ever.

  8. Yeah, maybe it wasn't shown at all. Do you mean the 2-minute trailer or the prologue one?
  9. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows 6:45 showing Theater was fuller than I've ever seen it; maybe 35%. Trailers: we showed up a little late... probably missed TDKR trailer The Dictator - no reation and looked lame This Means War - plenty of laughs, especially at the end Jack the Giant Killer - decent reaction. I had no interest beforehand but it looks ok. Review: My 4 friends and I all loved it. The last half-hour is almost... mesmerizing. Solid A.
  10. Any thoughts on the new breakout comedy? Can it match Home Improvement?
  11. He deserves it. One of the most iconic actors of all.
  12. How did Courageous jump from $95,000 to $193,760 with actuals? >_>
  13. Tangled making like 4x as much as TF3 is rather suprising.
  14. I mostly agree with this.Cap was my most anticipated movie of the year, and it was a tremendous let down. The action was decent, but it didn't feel like a superhero movie. Thor, on the other hand, had a mysterious and exciting superhero back story. Cap: B+Thor: A
  15. I don't own a Blu-ray player either. I have a DVD player, laptops - not real need for a Blu-ray because we don't have an HD TV.
  16. On a side note, Courageous passed the $30M mark today. It should soon be able to pass Fireproof, its predecessor.
  17. TDK is one of the creepiest, thrilling, exciting and moving action films I've ever seen. Oh, and it's pathetically rewatchable. A+
  18. This movies were very similar as far as Avengers stuff goes.Which did you like better?
