And Aronofsky had environmental messages in his last movie. Don't really see why they need to be touched on here although I'm sure plenty will just take the movie at face value anyway.
Pretty sure he's sitting across from the princess from the first movie in that dinner scene. Also looks like Tatum is getting some use out of that Gambit esque accent.
After reading the synopsis I was pretty meh. But planned on seeing it for Lawrence and Aronfsky. After the trailer it's topped my must see fall releases. As much as I'm rooting for IT, it better watch its back.
In a time where every weekend releases a new blockbuster, sometimes people want a simple turn off your brain low budget movie. Although personally I'd wait to redbox either one.
My mom and her friends seen it tonight. She said it was intense but not that good a movie. In her words felt like it was made for the sole purpose of making a movie and the chase scenes got pretty repetive.
Just got home from Detroit and I seriously think I have a new favorite film of the year. What a powerful film. Shame it's going to go under a lot of people's radar.
The worst is still yet to come sadly. Both when it comes to Luke Cage and the little show that follows after. The first half of Luke Cage is amazing but it suffers some after a certain character is killed.
