  1. Isn't Bond supposed to be over 40? Also since when Joe Awlyn is good looking, isn't he Swift's new boyfriend? I agree with Jack Lowden, he may be young but he looks 35+ he can work it and he is a good actor something that Madden isn't...
  2. At least they are good actors, to be honest i don't think there is an actor nowdays without a bomb. Ryan Reynolds, Chris Hemsworth, Jake Gyllenhaal the list is endless.
  3. Ryan Gosling is still trying I think Passengers and Solo are the biggest disappointments, Green Lantern was also a huge flop while superheroes were on rise.
  4. https://www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/la-et-mn-rami-malek-bohemian-rhapsody-oscar-nomination-20190122-story.html Maybe it's only me but they keep on being dishonest about this film, i knew about Singer since his X-men days how come he didn't knew... and after that he just name drops Mercury to save the game..
  5. A David Bowie movie would have been amazing, but it needs a very charismatic actor and his son doesn't want this. It's a pity
  6. I enjoyed this movie very much, and the reason was the amazing songs. I will not pretend that i was an Queen fan for years but everybody knew the songs so listening to them all together was huge fun. Other than that it was like reading wikipedia, it jumped from scene to scene, and from song to song without investing in the story. Rami was amazing but it is kind of annoying that he keeps imitating Freddie Mercury even on an awards stage or when he is asked about Singer he answers "it's about Freddie, people love Freddie". People love Freddie and Freddie Mercury was and will always be more than just a movie. There will be more adaptations in the future so i wish they could just stop hidding in his shadow to avoid problems.
  7. I am really bad at this, but I believe it will reach Thor: Ragnarok numbers OS. So around $540M OS and with $450M+ DOM, it will reach $1B easily. Black Panther isn't a known hero, but the hype from the USA always reaches Europe one way or another and maybe China will appreciate the fancy fight scenes.

  12. I think Solo will not do well but i don't see it as a sign of SW fatigue. I personally liked TLJ but have no interest so far in watching Solo. People who care about Star Wars will not accept Han not being Ford and falling in love with another woman than Leia, for the others it will be the 4th Star Wars movie in a row...not even close to an event movie.
  13. I aready said the greatest acting compared only to the all the other SW movies, i honestly can't remember Hamill being better in any other SW movie. Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac are great actors in and outside Star Wars. Driver is really amazing t in that "proposal scene". Ridley and Boyega both give a very honest performance. It's not like the other SW movies were renown for their acting, i think TLJ takes the crown easily.
  14. "I don't like a movie" is very different than "This movie is bad". Then can say whatever they want about TLJ but they can't dismiss the great cinematography and the greatest acting a SW movie ever had. Critics do value this more than "Luke wouldn't do that" arguments.
  15. STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI $21.5M Wednesday (North America) $26.7M Wednesday (Overseas) $891.8M GLOBAL TOTAL... https://twitter.com/BoxOffice/status/946419805795393536
  16. This article talks about the seven months leading up to The Last Jedi compared to the seven months leading to TFA and Rogue One which means there was already lack of interest!
  17. Someone just forwarded to me a petition to remove TLJ from canon.....people are being ridiculous, and he is 21 i can't see how his childhood got destroyed by the movie.
  18. Tom Holland has three franchises on board. At least one of them will eventually fail
