Disney's Pocahontas is a fantasy. Nothing more.
Now that I think about it, it actually is offensive how many liberties they took with history. Bowdlerizing fairy tales is one thing, but bowdlerizing real people is inexcusable. And making John Smith and Pocahontas love interests is gross in the light of historical fact.
But beyond that, it's not that interesting of a movie.
I haven't actually listened to the songs in La La Land, but I'm not impressed with Moana's music either. It will be a showdown between overhyped Oscar bait tunes!
Oh yeah, I've heard of that first blog. I haven't read it as closely as I used to, though.
Still, they announced Frozen 2 voice sessions:

Oh, wow, it's the first appearance of a movie I voted for!
I put it forward because I was impressed at how it told a story with no dialogue.
I don't get what you mean by "Peanuts-like way of speaking", because those movies actually have dialogue. And the Shaun the Sheep characters don't sound like the distorted trombone Peanuts adults either.
Hacksaw Ridge won Make Up & Hair Styling at the Hollywood Film Awards. Will it get nominated for an Oscar?

Dr. Strange just won for Visual Effects at the Hollywood Film Awards.

Disney probably didn't submit Rogue One here, of course.
Zootopia won the Animation Award at the Hollywood Film Awards, which probably means that it's the current frontrunner at the Oscars.

The only question now is how much people will like Moana.
