  1. Chinese Midnight ¥4.3M($648K) Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation earned ¥9.3M(Sep.8). Spectre did ¥5.25M(Nov.13).
  2. $9-10M OD Damn.I was talking about Jason Bouren, not Fantastic Beasts.
  3. Doctor Strange and Billy Lynn would have a great chance to release in the same day with North America’s date.
  4. China OD(Aug.23) seem to have no trouble earning $10M.The total number may beating The Martian($95M),which is Damon's highest grossing of all time in the market. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation - $18.91M OD - $85.96M OW(6 days) - $135.6M Total Gross Spectre - $14.52M OD - $46.46M OW(3 days) - $83.51M Total Gross Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol - $8.55M OD - $15.15M OW(2 days) - $101.2M Total Gross Spectre has the second worst multiples in recent years(No.1 is BvS).Only 3D release make the scene become darker and it could be the main reason for giving nagative reviews.
  5. Could Paramount save September box office again?Would Star Trek Beyond beat $100M?
  6. I don’t think so. The Score of Apocalypse in Douban is 8.0,which is higher than Civil War(7.8),BvS(6.6) and Deadpool(7.5 but didn’t get a release date in China). Apocalypse earned 8.4 rated by less than 5500 user in Jun.2(Chinese release date is Jun.3).BvS got 8.2 at beginning(Mar.25 0:00am) and dropped to 7.2(Mar.26 0:00am).Suicide Squad earns 7.1 with less than 4750 user now.You can see clear that the reviews and reactions may not be much better than BvS(and I think it could be worse) if SS get a release date in China. Apocalypse earned $58.48M OW with 2.13×.BvS did $56.96M OW with 1.67×.CW $96.59M with 1.99×. Some of my predictions(and the real numbers) before: BvS OW - $70M($56.96M) Total - $130M($94.98M) CACW OW - $95M($96.59M) Total - $185M($191.78M) But in BOT, I said CACW would beat $400M+ in China. Apocalypse OW - $48M($58.48M) Total - $86M($121.58M)
  7. Overseas, “Suicide Squad” is nearing the $200 million milestone. After Wednesday and Thursday international grosses were totaled, the film reached $191.5 million. Its largest markets are the U.K. ($23.7 million); Brazil ($17.2 million); Russia ($16.3 million) and Mexico ($15.3 million). In Russia, “Suicide Squad” has overtaken the entire of “Batman v Superman” and in Mexico, it has surpassed the entire run of “Guardian of the Galaxy.” http://variety.com/2016/film/news/sausage-party-box-office-suicide-squad-petes-dragon-florence-foster-jenkins-1201836502/

  9. Title OD CA3 719,115 SS 386,616 Apocalypse 296,066 Deadpool 246,238 BvS 211,701
  10. A friend worked in Beijing told me it was hard for GB to get a release date one week ago.
  11. Ghostbusters has a big trouble for getting China release date. And it looks that Sony is ready to give The Shallows a chance.
  12. Just ban Ghostbusters if SARFT aren’t happy about the plot that the ghost shows, then Sony will give The Shallows a chance to release. Ghostbusters most likely would be banned.
  13. It is still a question whether Ghostbusters could pass the censors.
  14. There were 54 films which earned $20million + at the first half of this year.23 are fresh and 31 are rotten. 15. A reliable source told me that The Shallows may get a release date in China if Ghostbusters couldn’t get past the censors.
