Django is good but it feels like QT didn't get enough time to think the final act through, because it really needs to be tightened up. (Actors joining, then leaving the production during the shoot pretty clearly had an effect on it). The absence of Sally Menke, who had edited all of his previous films, is felt in general: many of the standalone scenes are great, yet the movie drags as a whole. And it doesn't help that the title character is maybe the fourth most interesting person in the movie.
