  1. At least @Spagspiria doesn’t need to worry about four way ties.
  2. Bling Bling Boy is getting them meaty roles.
  3. Judging by the animation slate this year, I’m guessing the same thing will happen.
  4. The last time the category was strong was Y1 and Y2 but recently they’ve been weak although it’s a bit better than Y3.
  5. Hoping Yzma got a supporting actress nomination.
  6. Technically 2nd, everything else got 1st.
  7. In terms of films and writing order: Gigantic (I have the first ten minutes done already and a cloud scene that mimics (in term of awe) the first flight scene of HTTYD) Brother Bear The Sequel Inspector Gadget The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl The Valkyries vs The Galaxy Dragon Ball: The Red Ribbon Saga Bermuda Barry Brookshire Lost Earth Although I think I may get a decent chunk of Gigantic done this weekend, but I don’t think I’ll get much done as finals are approaching.
  8. Bout time. Is this still PG-13 though or...?
  9. Things I learned today, Marsai Martin can sing. So she should be excellent in Gigantic. Which is good as I am to make her and Forrest Goodluck are the two actors I’m trying to get to be CAYOM stars.
  10. @cayommagazine From the Endless Animation Y5 Pow Wow, Gigantic, the untold Disney film about a reimagining of Jack and The Beanstalk finds a home at Endless Animation. Nathan Greno (Tangled, My Peoples) and Meg LeFauve (writer of Inside Out and Can You Imagine?) will direct the project. The plot is “In the age of exploration of Spain, Jack (Diego Boneta) has always been a thrill seeker, craving adventure in life, much to the disapproval of his father (Gael Garcia Barnel) his dreams are shattered, forcing him to settle as a farmer. If that’s not enough, his family are also facing severe financial issues as his farm isn’t producing enough product. Desperate, Jack buys some magical beans from an elderly man (Antonio Banderas) said to withhold a great fortune. And the rest is history, the beans are planted, the beanstalk grows to skyscraper sized proportions but here’s where things get twisted. Jack finds out there’s a world of giants in the clouds and becomes a captive plaything for a loveable and feisty 62.5 feet tall, 11 year old giant named Inma (Marsai Martin), who’s lost her way home. Together, the two form an unlikely bond to get Inna home whilst finding the legendary golden bird before the Storm Giants, 130 feet tall giants lead by the evil Faustus (Ewan McGreggor) plan use the bird for malevolent purposes.” Gigantic will be computer animated as well as keep it’s musical roots with Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King) will be writing the majority songs in the film. LeFauve notes although the Lopez’s (Frozen, Coco, Heart’s Song) won’t write the songs as originally planned they’ve kept two songs, including My Little Man (a song of which Inma expresses glee of having Jack as a toy which Jack try to exclaim and prove he is not) which is played for the audience. The song isn’t a big rouser like The Circle Of Life or Let It Go but the audience loves in and laughs quite a few times. The film will arrive in theaters February 26th, Y5 replacing Larrikins which has been pushed back to Y6.
  11. Yeah, from what I remembered the show handles on a few characters well. I straight up despised Myron as a kid due to the show.
  12. Mine would be a bit more based on the books rather than the TV show. I watched the show as a kid and the first half of the season was good but after they changed the animation it’s quality drastically fell.
  13. @Xillix Drop Larrikins and replace it with The now titled Untitled Greno/LeFauve Animated Project see below: Gigantic - CG Animation/Musical/Fantasy - Directed by Nathan Greno and Meg LeFauve - February 26th, Y5
  14. The screens title shows the logo of Gigantic, which will be released February 26th, Y5. The crowd erupts with cheers and applause. Greno says the plot for the movie is a mix in both previous plots of the unused drafts; In the age of exploration of Spain, Jack (Diego Boneta) has always been a thrill seeker, craving adventure in life, much to the disapproval of his father (Gael Garcia Barnel) his dreams are shattered, forcing him to settle as a farmer. If that’s not enough, his family are also facing severe financial issues as his farm isn’t producing enough product. Greno also says the magic beans also play an interesting component in the story, hinting they may not be just for the beanstalk. Other cast members include: Bill Hader as Feebus John C. Reilly as Fifen Hannibal Buress as Fogel Alfred Molina as Fumm Chiwetel Ejifior Zoe Saldana Jake T Austin Hector Elizondo Victoria Justice LeFauve reveals that songwriters Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King) will be writing the majority songs in the film.
