Duncan Crabtree-Ireland is the only non actor IIRC everyone else is
As much I don't think Fran should be in the room, I would pay good money to watch the negotiations unfold with her doing it as Nanny Fine, I wonder how quickly the execs would fold?!
I honestly think some on here wouldn't be happy unless Hollywood collapses and/or cinemas shut down which would kind of defeat the purpose of this place.
Honestly there is pessimism and then is there full blown negative fantasy. I'm not saying people can't be pessimistic but not when it veers into implausible territory like someone suggesting Hollywood will collapse because the strikes.
Both Saw and Paw Patrol have low budgets so both will be very profitable although I suspect the latter doesn't really matter because the toy sales likely make up for any shortfall.
It's hilarious that people moan about Pixar and WDAS's animation style being old hat against the likes of Spider-Verse and TMNT but then complain about Wish looking cheap.
Funny how when there is bad news, certain people always seem to pop up and proclaim doom but stay quiet when it's good news. Somehow I don't think the film industry collapsing as predicted a while ago is happening....
SAG won't get everything they want and being the lone standout means there will be pressure to get something done.
11% increase won't happen but I think they'd accept something close to it.
AMPTP: 'Let's resume talks on Monday.'
SAG: 'Okay but we want to have it other than your offices'
AMPTP: 'Fine but you can't have Fran in the room!'
SAG: '........'
There were some projects that were days from wrapping like Wicked which TBH could incorporate that last bit of shooting with some reshoots and I think Beetlejuice 2 was a similar situation. Something like Juror Number 2 which probably could be done fairly quickly, it did 4 weeks of filming with maybe 2 weeks remaining or something along those sides.
Some of the demands before talks broke down had already been agreed IIRC such as self taping so I assume that it won't be starting afresh but more allowing more concessions from both sides.
