  1. I would imagine a few tweaks here and there but nothing too dramatic, Captain America I think will move up since it was already done and dusted before the strikes and they'll move Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes from May to late July. WB I think will move either Mickey 17 from March to either July or August with Juror Number 2 which I think can be done fairly quickly to either Beetlejuice 2's September slot or late October.
  2. In theory, the talk shows can start again fairly quickly since Colbert, Fallon and Kimmel are under a different contract for SAG AFTRA. SNL I'm not sure what it comes under as it's a live sketch show.
  3. I think the SAG AFTRA strike will be done and dusted in October if not November. I suspect Dune will stay in March and WB will focus on having Timmy do promo for Wonka in December.
  4. I assume it'll be filmed early 2024. The first was filmed in six weeks so it'll make the release date.
  5. Amazon adding ads to Prime Video and increasing the ad free version pruce is a way to increase revenue
  6. KFP4 is likely done and dusted in terms of the animation or at least close, voice work for these types of roles takes very little time. In regards to the WGA picketing, why they continue to picket The View is beyond me, they're not going to succeed shutting it down.
  7. The Tiger's Apprentice must be pretty bad not to get a theatrical release.
  8. I'm surprised Expendables cost so much, I assume it's all funded by Millenium Media who then sells it to different distributor to recoup the cost.
  9. I would imagine the revenue sharing point from SAG would be dropped if favour of a bigger increase of minimum payments since not all actors would benefit from the former.
  10. It reminds me of what happened at the Tony Awards, WGA members who are also playwrights had to plead with their own guild to not have the awards be picketed and I suspect it would have been a bad move given it's not WGA's purview anyway.
  11. I wonder if SAG has realised that WGA is indirectly hurting their members by picketing these shows and delaying them plus because the non scripted side of the business isn't on strike, they are more liable for damages from studios if talent drops out or delays production.
  12. There's definetly tension between SAG-AFTRA and the WGA which goes against the solidarity aspects.
  13. It does seem nuts that someone who's a writer as well as an actor would not know DWTS employed a single WGA writer.
  14. Big entertainment shows employ a lot of people, 500 sounds about right although many would be freelance.
  15. Once you have 2/3 of the major entertainment unions sorted, SAG becomes the outlier and thus puts pressure to get a deal done.
  16. I do think some of these writers ironically need to stay off social media, much like the actors as well.
  17. If the WGA and the studios get a deal done in the next two weeks then I fully expect a deal with SAG will likely be done quite quickly. IIRC They weren't that far apart in terms of what needed to be done to resolve it.
