  1. I would guess the earliest SAG will meet with the AMPTP is Monday.
  2. I think at midnight West Coast time, the thread title should be amended to solely SAGAFTRA Strike Discussion.
  3. Single writer shows will still exist, Yellowstone and The Gilded Age come to mind unless Taylor Sheridan and Julian Fellowes are forced to hire writers.
  4. I'm guessing the late night hosts will be back on Monday. As I've said, I think SNL should wait until the SAG strike is resolved given the cast are part of SAG but also they'd struggle with guest hosts since no movies and TV shows can promote.
  5. I can't imagine Killers of the Flower Moon being pulled completely, my guess is that they'll rearrange to other screens or move to 3rd November since that's currently empty.
  6. Cineworld likely will given Regal which is part of the same group has booked it in the US. I think given how hard it was to get tickets to the actual concert that this will do very well especially since it's limited to Friday-Sunday.
  7. I didn't think this week was likely given the WGA meeting was only called the week before they actually met, next week seems more likely.
  8. The thing is, if he hadn't done that, someone else would have done it sooner or later.
  9. Not to mention Inception while very good and entertaining is a sci-fi heist movie, not exactly Silence.
  10. Marty being old man shouts at cloud again: https://www.gq.com/story/martin-scorsese-profile
  11. The chances of Iger getting the boot is very low as well, he's only been back 10 months and probably it's a long term thing so they can pick a successor before he retires again.
  12. Zaslav wouldn't lose his job over one movie anyway, he's in charge of WBD, not just Warner Bros so if they have growth in other areas then he's not going anytime soon.
  13. Zaslav and Iger are like the boogiemen of CEOs in America. It's kind boring at this point It did amuse me when Fran Drescher called out the CEOS for having all the money having just come back from Italy.
  14. Anyone hoping all CEOs to lose their jobs will be solely disappointed.
  15. I did think it was strange that Captain America got moved when it was wrapped a lot sooner. I think that might end up moving back to May. I could see Disney moving Snow White to May 31st, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes to July or August. Anything that's ADR or voice acted only like Mufasa and DM4 likely won't be affected as voice work can done within weeks if not days. Twisters is one I think maybe November or December? It's unlikely to make July but 2012 proved that you can make bank with a disaster film in November.
  16. I think scheduling changes were always likely, I think Thunderbolts will still make December 2024 but Mission Impossible and Deadpool 3 are moving but the studios were lucky that a lot of stuff was already in the can so it probably won't be too noticeable unlike with Covid.
  17. I do think certain people who were proclaiming the strikes would be going on until 2024 are probably going to be eating humble pie.
  18. I assume picketing on The View and DWTS will stop. Will Matt Walsh technically be able to return? I assume that's if he withdraws, it won't be a huge issue since DWTS has reserves.
  19. I'll laugh so hard if Drew ends up having any of the actors who basically threatened her on social media on her show.
  20. I would imagine scheduling meetings with SAG will start soonish.
  21. TBH Most people will have forgotten Drew's faux pas by November if not January. Maher will still remain an asshole though.
  22. SNL should wait until SAG is sorted otherwise they're limited in terms who's available. I would bet they have sketches that were written for the finale in May that didn't go ahead so they likely have some material banked. I would imagine SAG will be called in for a meeting either on Tuesday or Wednesday or next week.
  23. SAG has already said DWTS is fine as it's under a different contract.
  24. I bet DWTS will now go ahead, I imagine Matt Walsh will be able to rejoin as well. The View now doesn't have to deal with picketers anymore.
