Why are people being so anal? This is clearly not a movie whose box office is going to be primarily dictated by the reviews. It's not going to make much of a difference whether the score is 80% or 90% or whether it's sorted by top critics or just normal critics. -

Skarsgard, Wolfhard and Lillis getting the best notices as expected. Also Lieberher getting some shine he didn't in early reactions.

His role in Stranger Things was so different though. If anything, his sweet, earnest character on ST would make it harder for people to see him as Richie. Comic relief characters are always audience favorites so I'm not surprised he's getting good ink. Sophia Lillis is definitely getting some good notices too - IMO, Bev has the most interesting, emotional arc so she has the meatiest role in the film and by most accounts, she's terrific.

Lawrence can get annoying and overexposed sometimes, but I always appreciate that she disappears after press tour is over....unlike say, Taylor Swift.
