  1. Up to 60, but 45-55 for most. Does that now make MetaCritic useless? It's also got a similar trajectory to RT, you've just gotta know how to use. It's generally much tougher to get a high MetaCritic score as opposed to an RT percentage, but it's also rare to get a very low MC score as opposed to an RT percentage. Critics' Choice is similar in that 0-40 basically doesn't even exist (which is really bizarre), so 70s isn't as high of a score as it seems on the surface next to MC and RT - but low 60s is pretty damn low. You've just got to know how it's weighted. Critics' Choice is really not that off from RT.
  2. All of those add up, yes. Have you looked at any of these any closer? Lion King and Aladdin at roughly the same - just like on RT, both with average rating and percentage, as well as metacritic. What's the problem there? Dark Phoenix being significantly lower than both, just like on every other site. Endgame's got a significantly higher average rating than OUATIH on RT, as well as a roughly 10% higher percentage. The only difference there is Metacritic's higher score for Hollywood, but that's not the same difference as a 7.8/10 avg rating for OUATIH, and an 8.3/10 for Endgame. What's the problem there with Critics' Choice? Endgame's also got a significantly higher average rating than Us on RT. Us only has Endgame beat by 3 numbers on MetaCritic. What's the problem there? Hobbs and Shaw's got Aquaman barely beat on both metrics on RT, it's not exactly a landslide victory we're talking 2% and a 0.06/10 average rating. Is it really that unlikely to you to imagine Aquaman got ONE number higher on Critics' Choice? ONE. What are you trying to say here? Yeah Crawl only has Pet Sematary beat by very little on Critics' Choice, but have you looked at MetaCritic recently? Crawl is at 60 and Sematary is at 57. Ooooh wow what a landslide victory. The Nun doesn't just beat La Llorona on Critics' Choice, it's got a 46 on MetaCritic compared to La Llorona's 41. The only thing you've succeeded at here is these things go up and down on most websites, but the trajectory is almost always identical.
  3. As has been proven with pretty much every single movie, it absolutely does. It's just through a slightly different metric.
  4. Do you trust its current 62/100? Or do you also not trust all of Rottentomatoes anymore after Blair Witch was really fresh for well over a month before collapsing into the 30s?
  5. Down to 80/100 on Critics' Choice, which isn't a big drop considering I'm sure far more critics have put in their scores now after the premiere. EDIT: the first one ended with an 82, btw.
  6. Definitely won't get to see the extended in theaters so here's hoping the months leading up to a blu-ray release go by fast.
  7. Everything's going to be hanging on the next one, though I'm not sure what news we could get before they start shooting which is still several months away.
  8. why stop going dark after the panel? You can keep it up Mr. Conrad! I dare you.
  9. So many of these are just embarrassing. I thought the Lady and the Tramp poster was fake for a full 10 minutes until I saw the blue checkmarked Disney post on Twitter.
  10. Nothing on critics' choice yet but a ton of 3/5s on letterboxd from people at the screenings.
  11. I'm more certain it'll go under the first in every critical metric. RT, MC, etc.
  12. Marathoned all Halloween movies back in May (not the first time), and I'm really looking forward to seeing this.
  13. Jesus Christ, does Tyrese actually think people would side with him over The Rock? Why post that online.
