  1. I really wanna see this but I got horribly sick literally on the day it came out. Since it's not doing great, I fear it will be taken out of the larger screens near me pretty soon so I've gotta beat this fucking thing before the smaller screens are all that's left.
  2. Redmayne confirmed the script is still being worked on. Worst case scenario it's over-correction at this point lol.
  3. There's no real order to this, but pretend that there is. I tried, lol. The Lighthouse A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood Knives Out Joker Little Women Marriage Story Ford v Ferrari Doctor Sleep The Irishman El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie
  4. Yeah I saw what they did with the bike in the TV movie and assumed that was from the book. I'm really surprised they didn't have any of that here with such a gigantic runningtime. What I severly disliked in the TV movie was the bully coming after them, gets killed, the end. Completely useless and I thought the new movie would be either smart enough to not include it, or find a purpose. Instead it's there and somehow even more pointless than the TV movie.
  5. It's frustrating that so much of the movie is just filler that never adds up to much. Why was this 3 hours long and still couldn't follow through on much that it seemed to set up?
  6. 47 on MC with a mere 2 green reviews out of 10 is not really good. Can't really expect it to end up much higher or lower than where it's already at.
  7. "Although there will be little to no horror elements, he adds that the film will be a beautiful human story and what captivated him was the human drama he could explore." The human drama stuff is definitely what I preferred over the horror elements in all of his previous movies so this is only a good thing.
  8. I know this. This is just a perfect example of it and why it should be made clear by MC just how it works. There's gotta be quite a difference in the weighted average here considering ABDITN scores higher from nearly half of the reviews published, ties the rest, but still comes out under.
  9. We've got a perfect example of MetaCritic's weighted average that no one understands right now with this and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Both have 8 reviews so far and they look like this side by side: Knives Out ABDITN 100 100 91 91 90 90 80 85 80 83 75 80 70 70 60 60 They start and end identical, the top and bottom score even came from the same publications, but in the middle it's clear ABDITN beats Knives Out just a bit, but Knives Out sits at an 81 while the former's at an 80.
  10. Surprised by how low it started out on both RT and MC, it could definitely be a bad luck situation that'll correct itself later.
  11. 63% could this be a late rotten, it keeps going down along with the avg rating.
