Speaking of GOTG would love to see Vol 3's OS gross reach Captain Marvel heights (probably too much of an increase realistically). Vol 2's OS was a tad disappointing especially since it got easily beaten by Ragnarok in the same year.
This made me realize that the forward narrative of the MCU will take a 20 Month gap between Spider-Man: Far From Home and (presumely) Black Panther 2. Though I'd assume Eternals may set some stuff up for future films.
Wait did the Tesseract really help Tony create the new element for his arc reactor in Iron Man 2?? I rewatched it like three days ago and I didn't realize that. Then again at that point I was probably bored of the movie already.
I wasn't around BOT at the time but my reasoning was a combination of Avengers faitigue after Ultron, being more appealing to hardcore MCU fans than GA and continuity lockout with Winter Soldier being essential viewing a film which grossed half of Ultron.
The Flash tv show isn't popular enough to have a major effect on the box office of a potential Flash film. It's only popular towards certain demographics.
Difference is Gunn is making The Suicide Squad from the ground up while Whedon came in at the last min to reshape JL.
