Yeah at this point if multiple directors have come and gone from the project maybe the problem is the lead actor not being able to jive with anyone who comes on board.
They'll stick with the "Disney is buying fake tickets" excuse now that it's gonna seem like the 2nd Weekend drop (which they have been praying would show the supposed "bad WoM") is gonna be good for Captain Marvel.
Uh what??
EDIT: So I guess either the directors change or Ezra Miller is recasted. Either way someone needs to make a movie about the development hell this film has been through.
I think it's gonna be similar to how Winter Soldier is a sequel to First Avenger but is a completely different film with a different supporting cast and time period. More episodic than a saga.
Anyhow it's all semantics.
Yeah that makes more sense lol. Like there's no way Captain Marvel will be at $750M by the end of the week. Of course our favourite Youtubers won't care.
It's pretty obvious the $750M is NOT the breakeven point. Captain Marvel's budget was $152M and the most Disney has spent marketing an MCU film was Infinity War with $150M+. Unless you wanna insinuate Disney decided to spend more money marketing Captain Marvel than Infinity War there's no way the breakeven point is anywhere close to $750M.
I haven't even seen the 5th season of Arrested Development yet even though I love the show (even S4 I dug quite a bit). Still waiting for that Community movie.
