  1. Oh well I guess. Sarandon is a better actress in my view so I’m not complaining Me too! I want to see the suit in action! This all feels surreal to me! I’ve been wanting a BB movie since forever ago
  2. Same here! I’m still curious about who else they’ll cast. Blue Beetle starts filming next Thursday
  3. Even more incentive to keep the Wizarding World going. Monsterverse and Dune belong to Legendary not WB as you said. TCU is a profitable franchise but its not at the level of WW or DC…
  4. There will be more Wizarding World films regardless of how FB3 does. WB literally only has WW and DC as their big franchises, cancelling one would put them behind the competition. I doubt they’ll start licensing Middle Earth content again, plus Monsterverse/TCU/Dune are smaller franchises not yet at the level of the two above
  5. That’s true. Asia is what is keeping DC from those billion dollar films! Aquaman and Joker did a billion because they broke out over there. Domestic and Latin America are big DC markets! Europe can be too… Asia is where they’re lagging
  6. They should keep Bugs there! Looks so much better! He is their mascot after all
  7. My prediction has always been: 52M OW 145M Domestic 425M International 575M World Wide It’d be the lowest grossing WW film, suffering from the sins of its predecessor, but still make a profit for WB, which means they’d be able to continue the series
  8. I hope this film is good and action packed! Especially because it’s Latino led! Sharon is a great addition!
  9. I hope the rumors for Sandra Bullock joining the DCEU (likely for Blue Beetle) are true! It’d be a huge win for DC and Blue Beetle
  10. Morbius: 45M/90M Sonic 2: 70M/210M Fantastic Beasts 2: 52M/135M
  11. I think people don’t realize that those Marvel numbers are an anomaly and not the norm! DC fans just have to get used to the fact DC cannot compete with Marvel and WB cannot compete with Disney! Just enjoy the quality films
  12. The Order of the Phoenix vs Lord Voldemort’s rise and fall to power would be awesome! Or do something with the next generation of Hogwarts students, with the originals in retuning roles. As a Slytherin, I’m hoping for something relating to the best Hogwarts house as well, even settle for an HBO show edit: I predict it’ll make more than GoGW but less than FB, so around the 700M range, powered by international audiences
  13. Joker? It’s getting a sequel. Batman? Seems to be doing strong. DC is their strongest franchise. But The Conjuring franchise is their most healthy (most successful horror franchise).
  14. 4 to 3… but 2023 went from 2 to 3 so it evens out and gives WB a strong 2022 and 2023 2022: The Batman, Black Adam, Shazam 2 2023: Aquaman 2, The Flash, Blue Beetle
  15. I think Batgirl will take that December spot since it has to release after Flash. Now we have a more balanced and solid 2022/2023 slate!
  16. Nolan’s worst? Lol nope it’s one of his best. And one of only 2 of his billion dollar films. Also it’s not shiny new toy syndrome. The Batman is the comics brought to life, Nolan’s trilogy was good but was too realistic for me. The Batman strikes a good balance
  17. The Harry Potter fandom is much larger than Twitter/Reddit… guarantee 99.9% of fans don’t care about that “controversy”
  18. The Batman > The Dark Knight > Batman Begins > The Dark Knight Rises > Batman Returns > Batman They finally gave us a Batman ripped straight from the comics! That opening intro scene alone is the best Batman of all time when it comes to live action.
  19. Probably going to take my sisters and brother to see this. We’re all huge Potter fans and it releases around two of my sisters birthdays as well. Guess I’ll have to find time and watch the first two before hand on HBO lol
  20. The disrespect for the first Latino led superhero film!! Not even a mention for Blue Beetle in your rant 😕 That film has a ton of potential! Cool visuals, character has a great power set, Latinos are sorely underrepresented and it has a good release date plus a popular up and coming lead actor (thanks to Cobra Kai).
  21. So DC’s recent films (from MOS up until TSS) have an average of 2.86 when it comes to legs at the box office, though that may be inflated because Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Joker all had tremendous legs (above 3.40) but still something to consider since The Batman seems well received and has March to itself. 130(2.86) gets us 371.8M domestically. I thinks that’s a good guess to where it’ll end up, but it could overperform (ala Joker, Aquaman, Wonder Woman) or underperform (ala BVS, JL, MOS, TSS). Guess we’ll see with actuals.
