#AvengersEndgame Thursday reported gross $7.3 M and total domestic gross $655 M and worldwide $2.3 Billion.
Source: Twitter- 143 Cinema- Charlie’s former source.
Since this was posted this morning, then I think Endgame is probably around 7.5-7.6 for Thursday.

You must be seeing some serious over indexing because even places like Empire 25 are getting nowhere near sellouts.
Empire 25 had four near sellouts out of eleven shows for Pika Pika tonight. Those were the Prime shows. Digital did ok, but no near sellouts.

That are the ones that were early often, but not always that accurate in getting it right, so please be prepared for it being +/- 1 million or so?
#AvengersEndgame Tuesday reported gross $12M and total domestic gross $639 MillionThis person doesn’t report final grosses. He reports gross from a certain point in time with locations still outstanding. According to Charlie, this person used to be his source. Therefore, his info up to the point in time that he is reporting is accurate.

Week 3- Tough one! But I will go with No!

Two movies that i’ve seen this year and wished they’d done better at the box office are Wonder Park and Long Shot. Long Shot was really good. It’s an old fashioned comedy like baumer said. It wasn’t even that overly political. I did not feel politics being forced down my throat. It’s unfortunate that both movies didn’t find a lane.

So TFA keeps the second weekend record. Pretty crazy.
TFA was a beast in its own right. When you consider that Endgame opened to 110M more than TFA, had a very respectable second week drop, yet still couldn’t top TFA for the second weekend record. Endgame is going to be the king of the box office in a few weeks, but TFA’s domestic run is something at which to “marvel” at as well.

So this thread has turned into the favorite diva thread? Lol.
Ok! Just wanted to add that when discussing vocals and live performances, no one beats Whitney Houston in her prime. Fin!

Massive massive Saturday incoming. The AMC app is showing that in NYC and surrounding areas, at least 90% capacity for matinees. Evening shows sold out at many theaters.

Don’t know how reputable this handle is, but I’ll go with it. After all, Deadline’s numbers are often meaningless too. Anyways, Endgame is definitely going above 44M, if there are still late evening shows on the East coast and the entire west coast evening shows reminding.

If Friday is 44+, then that would be the approximate increase of AIW. Why wouldn’t it follow the same increases/decreases as AIW for the rest of the weekend? I think at least 160 should happen. I have 162.95 in the derby!

I'd like them to actually provide what Friday number their working with. If it's over 50 that makes sense; if it's the same $44M Deadline has than they're giving it a better IM than Black Panther's second weekend, which I just don't see coming close to happening.
I completely agree. They should give the number on which they are basing their estimate. I’ve noticed a lot of times, Variety piggy-backs Deadline. This time, they chose to go with the higher end of the Deadline range. We definitely will have to wait a few hours for Rth and Charlie. Either way, the number will be monstrous!

Honestly, let’s wait for our Asgardians. Deadline has no idea of what the number is. I think they just took the Thursday number and gave it the same multiplier as AIW. Their range is a CYA move.

DL being DL. Widest range in recorded history.

Long Shot is going to have insane wom. I don't know how strong its going to open but it's going to be a crowd-pleaser for sure. It's an old-school romantic comedy with the classic Seth Rogen vernacular tossed into it. Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen are so good and they have fantastic chemistry and it's one of the funniest films I've seen probably ever. It's too bad Lionsgate didn't promote it a bit more because they could have had a really big hit on their hands.
I am going to see it on Monday. The trailer was really good. Glad to see that it got a raving review from you.

I have numbers bit lower than @RtheEnd. Around 32mn.
Thank you, but I hope you’re not letting that poster from yesterday temper your predictions. I am sure that I am not speaking only for myself when I say that your enthusiasm interpreting numbers is a breath of fresh air. You and RtheEnd are absolutely awesome!

How many heroes in the picture? I am having a tough time counting. Looks to be 32-33? I may have missed one. Will go with 34M.
RtheEnd with his famous brain teasers. Love them!

Did you like End Game?
I'm a bit obsessed. I always say why see a movie twice? Now I'm trying to figure out exactly how many times I can see this in theater
Loved it. Seen it twice already. I thought it was a great mix of action and humor. 👍

Warner Bros. trying yet again to sabotage End Game by moving up the embargo. It's beyond obvious at this point. Sucks for them that their GOT plan failed and hopefully this will as well.
Ah, not everything revolves around Endgame. Perhaps WB is trying to help Pikachu’s presales and awareness. My understanding is that presales haven’t been great. Nothing WB could do would sabotage Endgame. I think they know that. But they have a company to run. Endgame has been a juggernaut because audiences love the movie. WB needs to make sure that they make movies people love and that they do everything possible to make them successful.

Just to reinforce what we all suspected last night, I knew Rth and Charlie would be closer to the actual number than Deadline. The number looks to be right in Rth’s range and just a little tiny bit outside of Charlie’s. As Biggeek wrote, Deadline can’t even predict the weekend numbers correctly when they have the Friday number, so what can we expect on weekdays? Lol.
Many kudos and thanks to our Asgardians.

I’ve given up trying to figure out this movie. 200M second weekend seems possible or if this week goes excellently, probably likely. I am content just to sit back and enjoy the ride. It is amazing!

I was very happy when baumer put his foot down and stopped empirecity’s nonsense. I’ve only been here since 2017, but that was a highlight for me. He was flat out verbally abusive to some people and very condescending.

@RtheEnd usually likes making predictions later in the evenings. Not doubting Charlie’s number but would be nice to hear from the original BOT god. With this movie, we can never be surprised though. I think anything is possible. I honestly wouldn’t be completely shocked with 45M at this point.
-
This movie is insane. I wouldn’t bet against it for a 200M weekend or an increase tomorrow. Would love to see whether Rth agrees with the 38-40 estimate though! Incredible!

What FSS increases would Endgame need to reach Deadline’s 80-85M? You’d think that they have some kind of information to throw out that number. Then again, I remember their cavernous range from last week of 137-177, even after they had the Friday number. Sometimes, they just needlessly confuse things.
