I have said this before, I will say this again, and I will forever say this: Singin in the Rain is an 1 hr and 42 minutes. It’s the most perfect movie. Ever. It’s not about length, it’s about character and PACING. If they can get it done in an hour and 30, then good for them.

As long as it’s a good 107 minutes, I am happy. Make movies under 2 hours again.

Sleepless In Seattle is on Netflix until August 31!! Not as good as When Harry Met Sally, but SO good. And such a fun cast.

I wouldn’t refer to it as out of character. I never felt like anything was out of character. I just thought some of the choice is being made were certainly: People change, but people also don’t really change. Like there was no grit to Sabine, no spunk. And I think for me, it was a lack of energy. Some of those scenes were really like they felt pulling teeth. Maybe it’s because the actors weren’t in the same room and they edited everything together, but none of it felt Alive.

I feel like there is a certain je ne sais quoi missing. Both of the episodes felt flat, and like I stopped Half way through cause my dog needed me. Dawson is playing Ahsoka way too close to the chest. Eckstein played her aloof in Rebels, but there was a hint of warmth to it. Same with Sabine. okay. Finished. idk, team. I just can’t get comfortable. Like I spent half the episode, thinking how Hera just didn’t look right. Like her brows were weird and her eyes were too small. And I know that she was definitely one of the first like human face Twi’Leks but I am kind of done with them not having a prominent for head bone structure. She felt like a Disney cast member: amazing Cosplay, not real.

This show gives zero fucks if you haven’t watched Rebels. 😂😂 I kind of like the audacity.

I consider this a personal victory.
