I think Detective Pikachu and Joker will be big, Joker behind the scenes / clips made a great impression and trailer for Detective Pikachu had a big buzz.

Technically Aquaman had 3 trailers, the Comic Con trailer, the "extended video " and the final trailer. All others DCEU movies had 3 trailers or more (SS and WW had 4 I think).

If this reaches $600m will be the biggest surprise of the year without any doubt, that would be BR worldwide -China > > > Venom worldwide -China. It's already the biggest surprise of the year for me.

I would not rule out that this can happen even if a Godzilla 2 trailer is released on the same day, but maybe the trailer will not be released online...

From what I've seen, the vast majority of Venom's stories are not "R Rated"/Mature, so why the movie need to be?

I do not see this movie making success outside of domestic/ UK market, in Brazil The hype for this film is much lower than any other live action remake from Disney (minus Pooh movie Lol) in China this movie will probably be a flop..

Phenomenal opening in Brazil, looks like was a bigger opening weekend than "IT" even with the exchange rates being worse now.
