  1. I might be predicting this with my emotions (I am DYING to see this), but I don'k think it is going to bomb. Heck, this might end up being Statham's biggest U.S. hit.
  2. Play villains in superhero films, villains in action thrillers based on fairytales, or villains in Indiana Jones sequels. But aside from that, she rocks.
  3. Seems like a lot of people are. I read a lot of "damn! Every movie got dragged down with SOlo!"s. WTF? All these non-blockbuster films not aimed at teenage boys are doing well.
  4. Pfeiffer and Keaton were magical together. Keaton and Basinger...not so much.
  5. Margot Kidder was so likeable and brilliant as Lois (RIP) Pfeiffer is a goddess. End of story. #CatwomanWasOscarRobbed Pine's charm is off the charts. Truly amazing pairings all of them. Whomever did the casting for those films deserves all kinds of awards. Also...on a serious note: what do you think of Toby and Kirsten in Spider-Man? I think they had a great chemistry too.
  6. Come on. New original Star Wars films will also get hatred from the old school fans of the OT who will never accept new stories. I have no idea how Kennedy will do this, but making STar Wars films seems like an impossible task. You want to please the old school fans, but you wanna do something fresh...how the fuck do you do this if the fandom is so stuck in the past? You cannot tell me that a huge part of shy Solo is underwhelming is the whole "NOT MY HAN!" crap.
  7. It is so hard to capture that! Romantic sparks/chemistry is possibly one of the most elusive things to get (and to get it right), and yet the three biggest DC icons have managed to do it in their solo films. However...how dare you forget....????? #neverForget #SteveAndBucky4EVAH
  8. Pine and Gadot's onscreen spark is arguably the most vividly potent romantic chemistry in a superhero movie yet (and a huge part of why the film connected with so many people). Therefore, I am not surprised about Pine's possible return. I just hope the way in which he returns is cool and des not cheapen what came before.
  9. Whatever happened to that Blake Lively film in which she was...blind...or something? Didn't she have an abusive husband?
  10. I will never say never when it comes to Oscars. An actor that today is seen as a one-trick pony could easily be tomorrow's Oscar-winning revelation.
  11. I hope that Steve's "return" is just a trick played by Circe to fuck with Diana's head. I also think that a return from the dead would simply cheapen the beautifully heartbreaking love story from the first film.
  12. People are dooming-and-glooming over Aladdin's potential at the box office because it might be an awful film? Was Beauty and the Beast anything but an awful, soulless copy-and-paste of the original? Did that stop it from grossing a billion dollars?
  13. Damn...you cant see anything in that pic. How can they be sure it's Pine?
  14. Not really. And you still have no proof that it will gross only 500 million WW. Like I said, it will be the worst kind of BO run: too small to silence the stans and too large to silence the detractors.
  15. Nah. Seems to me like the normal "bring all of your girlfriends" marketing expected from a film about a bunch of women. THis looks like tons of fun. Cannot wait.
  16. Solo's box office will end up too small to be considered a smashing success but too large to be considered a massive failure. And therefore, it will engender countless back-and-forth arguments that will convince nobody of the "error" of their ways...
  17. You mean the notes that Marvel took from Donner and Raimi's Spidey, right?
  18. What are the long-term prospects for LOP? Is 60 million doable? 65?
  19. Yeah, I don't think they are too concerned about Bond. They did move the film to avoid Star Wars, and I feel that this and Bond can coexist.
  20. Yeah, storyboards or early designs would be cool. Maybe the official logo for the WW sequel? I am also hoping for casting news, but frankly, I hope that they don't spoil any surprises. We pretty much know who the main players are by now; I don't want to hear anything else...
  21. Cameron is the franchise. He is the brand that links TItanic and Avatar...
