Yeah, this CNY PS are way more top heavy to #1 film than we’ve usually seen before. Very curious to see how reception breaks out and whether one of the lower films can eventually pass DC3 in dailies.

This will lead into Spider-man 3 and DS2, affecting their BO, so obviously it belongs in BO section

Young Avengers Billy is Wanda’s son, just like in show. In both MCU and (most versions of/main recent version of) comics, has one brother (Pietro) and two sons (Billy and Tommy).

Probably gonna end the show at least 16 so they can appear in Young Avengers down the line.

PS were normal, PSm was 2.5, but a pretty low CGV % of 43% takes it to an 85k day. Sun PS 13, going for about an 82k day. Weekend of 200k for cume 1.2M, curious how it can hold next week but probably heading around 1.7

Now that it seems pretty firmly April/May 2023 slot, I could see this. Especially with the holiday special and Thor4 to set it up a bit.

Soul has now beaten Croods for 2nd place 2020 HW and beaten Incredibles 2 for 2nd place Pixar. Final milestone of the run here, though I guess it will also pass 10.0x multi this weekend. Not really a full breakout, but very nice little run considering how it started .

I dunno, seems like a pretty natural and common thing to wonder 😛 I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we get an answer in canon, but if we don’t I’m willing to apply a little SOD for it.

It started at 9.5 around 1k reviews, and just dropped back to 9.5 at 3k, think it will settle at 9.4. Not much room for “always increasing” trend to continue anymore 👍

I think after Captain Marvel, Fury continued with Shield but also helped Maria create SWORD (with unclear levels of involvement from Carol and Talos). Seems like SWORD had more of a space focus. After TWS, SWORD was left standing while SHIELD wasn’t, probably interfaced with the Avengers during the 5 year timeskip. But you’ve still gotta wonder why we didn’t hear a peep about SWORD from GotG to IW — or from IM1 to TWS to that matter. I think it’s simply going to remain a “feels like they crammed this in retroactively and it doesn’t really fit with previous continuity” sort of thing... because it is.

35k for Soul, 28k for DS. Sat PS 15k for Soul. Last weekend Sat PS seemed to have an error, if the same error is present today PSm of 2.8 will take it to about 92k. If not, PSm of 2.5 takes it to around 82k. Not tracking DS anymore.

I don’t see much point talking about that until we actually know what happened between Endgame and WandaVision. Pretty sure there are some big reveals still to come.

Thinking a weekend around $1M for a 3.5M cume, yeah probably somewhere around mid-high 4s if I had to guess. Soul feeling about $15M for now.

Soul in first with a 2.9 PSm and a 30k day, DS moves back down to 2nd with a 1.84 PSm and a 28k day 😄 Fri PS for Soul 5.6k, should go for a final of around at 17k CGV and 36k overall day. DS CGV PS at 7.4k, maybe a 26k or so day.

2.69 PSm for Soul takes it 31.5k day. 1.37 PSm for DS, 52k day. Th PS 4.8k for Soul and 8.2k for DS, expecting days around 29k each. Soul probably win the weekend again.

Enough gas to pass 39, maybe 40.

DS turning out very PS loaded. Maybe more like a 50k day.

Pretty manipulated headline imo. Olsen didn’t did it describe it that way, they were fishing by asking if there was a big cameo appearance and she just said yes. Maybe it’s actually someone totally under wraps, but my guess is they’re just talking about Cumberbatch.

Yeah, I was thinking 23:20 may end up around 35, and then normal share. On the one hand seems fan heavy which can lower PSm, but this is not totally a D1, also kind of a D8 with 230k admissions already, so that should lead to being a bit less PS heavy. So we’ll see what happens.

DS has popped up at 1:20 with 19k sales at CGV. Pretty solid, but not going to speculate where it ends up until we see some of the morning pace.
