FFH is definitely poor compared to CM on Pulse, but it has 0 pre-midnight previews which are a substantial driver of early presales. That+ the 6 days means I won’t put too much stock until we can see the daily distribution and are pretty close to the release. -

They’re both doing gangbusters, glad to see it and excited to find out where they each finish from here. Everything else since Endgame has been pretty meh here (oh, actually The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil was good too — all the other imports since then have been doing awful).

It will fall 25-35M short of Avatar’s total in its first run, which is a first run just O/U Avatar’s. Some people think it’s likely to get a major rerelease in the next year, some think it’s very unlikely. The situation is fairly unique so no one really knows for sure.

Anything is possible in Japan, don’t know just how much it’s connecting yet. I think it will be around 90 there, maybe 330 DOM, not much past 900 if at all. -

Some movies (ones with some IMAX or fan events) have multiple rows in the raw data, so you have to manually add them together each time to get the total figure for that movie. -
Endgame will miss 14 after all, but #1 import was the real goal. It can rest now. Parasite finishing the weekend ~7 as I thought, should pass 10 but I’m not sure by how much. Aladdin is hard to predict, for all we know 4th wknd could rise again 7+ makes sense to me.
