  1. The one thing I’ll say that I’m still somewhat curious about regarding this film is how they’ll explain bringing back Quaritch and Grace.
  2. Judging by the Michael Keaton news, and the fact that the movie division at WB were apparently the ones who requested the Ezra Miller cameo, it seems like that was supposed to be a cross promotional tie-in.
  3. For God’s sake, leave TDKT out of this! I don’t want to be forced to accept the idea that TDK exists in the same multiverse as the Arrowverse. Besides, that would be a huge slap in the face to what Nolan’s vision was. Also, why are people suggesting that Michael Keaton playing Batman again wouldn’t be a draw?
  4. The MCU is technically supposed to take place in the same multiverse as the various comic continuities, so I guess they could potentially do something cute with that.
  5. Well, I suppose the Arrowverse already established that the Tim Burton continuity is part of the same multiverse as the DCEU, so this isn’t unprecedented. They just better keep the Nolan Batman universe the hell away from this. I don’t want the Nolan trilogy to be part of some multiverse.
  6. I know WB is the same studio that planned on releasing a Justice League film just one year after TDK, with a completely different Batman, but at this point, doing something like that seems like it would be excessive.
  7. Here’s something I’d be real interested in knowing; if this movie is supposed to be based on Flashpoint, and is meant to serve as a reboot for the DCEU, what exactly would WB hope to accomplish from that? I get that the Snyderverse was a huge mess, but I was under the impression that WB had already pretty much abandoned the interconnected universe approach, outside of keeping several of the actors from the Snyder era. The only real reason I can think of for why they’d go through the trouble of doing an in-universe retcon is if they want to eventually have Robert Pattinson alongside Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa, but I was under the impression that Matt Reeves’ Batman was supposed to be a stand-alone trilogy. Plus, if they intend to use this movie to explain why Ben Affleck is now Robert Pattinson, then why is it being released after the Matt Reeves Batman movie?
  8. Sure, he’ll most likely get an executive producer credit, since he was The Who came up with this particular incarnation of the Flash, but executive producer doesn’t mean much.
  9. I see my comment was deleted. For the record, it was just a joke. It wasn’t meant to be taken seriously.
  10. Unfortunately, that’s not how the Internet operates in a post-MeToo era. Once the Internet hears something scandalous about a person, the immediate assumption is that the person is guilty. The Internet in general thrives on cancel culture. It’s the bread and butter. Twitter is the most egregious example of this, but the problem is prevalent for the rest of the Internet as well.
