There was plenty of interest in a GB3 until Ramis passed away, at the very least.

So far, the trailer on YT has a pretty decent amount of likes, but a fairly low number of views.

I’m sure the movie itself won’t take itself as seriously as this teaser implies, but just from watching the teaser, it seems like they may be trying a bit too hard to differentiate this movie from the Paul Feig one.

I would think that this movie should at least be able to make more money overseas than the first one.

That’s because Aquaman made a lot of money in China, where Joker was never released. Still, trailer views are by no means an indicator of how successful a movie will be.

On the subject of the Arrowverse version of CoIE, are we supposed to assume that the world which Titans takes place in is now destroyed?

Even though I haven’t been keeping up with any part of the Arrowverse for years, I’m currently watching the first part of Crisis on Infinite Earths. I’m going to be honest here, it’s kind of sad that this is probably the closest DC will get to having their own Infinity Way/Endgame. Oh well, at least we have Joker.

I’ve got to say, I’m a little surprised that there haven’t been any comments here about how this movie potentially contradicts MoS and BvS by suggesting that Wonder Woman was a public hero in the 80s.

He delivered what was possibly the most intense moment in the Arrowverse. I know that’s not saying a whole lot, but at least give him some credit for that.

I meant for a CW show. I didn’t say he gave an Oscar worthy performance. He’s in a league above most of the other actors in those shows.

The acting isn’t all bad. Manu Bennett as Deathstroke was pretty good.

The big problem with the Joel Schumacher films is that they’re basically neon toy commercials, not necessarily that they’re silly. I may not be a big fan of the Tim Burton Batman films, but they’re pretty campy as well. They just happen to be more grotesque than the Schumacher films. Campy superhero films are everywhere. It’s not a death sentence. The Sam Raimi Spider-Man films are ridiculously campy, but people still love the first two. As long as there’s something of substance in the film, campiness is fine.

The funniest thing to me is how WB apparently mandated that Steppenwolf’s design be changed, because they thought the concept art of the character looked too scary or something.

If they can’t be bothered to release the Snyder Cut, I’d at least like to be able to read the script that was written before WB got all reactionary with BvS.

Unless a movie is meant to see a wide theatrical release, having a three and a half hour runtime shouldn’t matter. That’s the same length as the Ultimate Cut of Watchmen.
