Well the movie still has yet to open overseas and even moonlight grossed more than double of what it made in the states. Im sure it will do decently in Europe.

Yeah it makes absolutely no sense. You would think they would understand that underrepresented communities are hungry to see themselves on the big screen ala black panther; but, no, no promotional for crazy rich asians STILL. This could be a break out hit for them and it seems their really not trying to promote it at all. Oceans 8 had a poster like 8 months ago. Its kind of frustrating.

They're having a screening of this in LA tomorrow but at freaking 12pm! I wouldve loved to go but have school. SMH

Ready Player One March 29th - AMC theater dolby cinemas MI6 - My friend said he wants to see it and people seemed into it. The House With clocks in his walls - confusion ... Spider Man into the spider verse - there seems to be confusion, my friend thinks its going to flop lol Rampage - Excitement I can't remember the other trailers and I was 4 mins late getting popcorn lol. During the movie there was some laughter... very few people clapped after the movie ended. The guy sitting next to us said it was good to the girl he was with the girl looked at him like "WTF" and said it was ok lol. I saw Black Panther opening night like I saw this one and the clapping afterwards for that movie was rapturous.

Thats insane, but I'm sure she got butts in the seats though. So somewhat warranted. I wonder how much this would've grossed without her as the lead. I think it would've been more profitable.

Its not listed on box office mojo I don't think... what did it make there? Was it because it opened on a holiday or something

I really want to know why black panther is doing so well in the Netherlands lol. #1 superhero of all time there. Its just a market I wouldn't have expected to do so well in. Is there any other markets that BP did the best in for a solo superhero film?(besides africa)

How do you know they're attacking the film though? Does this happen often in China? So, the film would be at a 9.3-9.4 without this attack.

RPO doesn't seem to be hurting BP's numbers too much. I don't think BP will only do 4M tonight. I think 5-5.5M is in the cards.

Maybe? there seems to be an issue in India too where all the screenings for rpo at every theater were cancelled this weekend. Something seems up.

I didnt really enjoy it. The characters were underdeveloped, all of the gamers on this massive platform happened to live in close proximity to each other? riiiiight. It had too many plot issues. My friend loved it and it seems the general consensus is that people enjoy it which is all that matters. I give it a 6.5/10. C-
