  1. I watched on Netflix, so was expecting comedy. The film tried to be comedic but wasn't really. It was Horror that didn't worked at all for me. I got that but it still didn't work for me.
  2. IMDb says Horror. Netflix has it in Comedy. Neither of two worked for me. Idk if there is some hidden West related theme. Didn't worked for me.
  3. MCU time had gone 4 years in advance. CoVID basically bringing that into sync. Black Widow is anyways a prequel, Eternals too may be bit back in time. Assuming events of Endgame happened in 1st qtr of 2023, Thor 4 will be just 1 year earlier (unless ofcourse its moved)
  4. Week 3: 18-24th April 2020 Movies The Cabin in the Woods: The film don't have any horror quotient whatsoever. When you are showing that events that are happening or will happen are just a reality TV Show (?), you are diluting horror factor. The ending of film also didn't really worked. A lenient 4/10. The World's End: The Edgar Wright's leftover from last week, which I think is his weakest. The start was okay but then it bored the fuck out of it. Then it got a bit interesting but soon went in what the fuck territory. 1/10. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: It was a while ago since I watched Potter, so did it. Barring the fact that its titled Harry Potter, it's a Hermione Granger film (Hugging face). Harry was clueless most of the time in the film, it was Hermione saving the day. Back when I watched the films first time, this was my least favourite. I like it better now but still the events of film could have been done better, say if Sirius Black could just come to Harry without that scary theme in the starting of film or if they had avoided the pronoun game under The Whomping Willow. Besides Time Travel is always messy. 8/10. Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix: I remember it liking more in first watch. The reason could be the fact that knowing what happens to Umbridge don't really get that much of attention to her annoying self in the film where most of the film is spent. That said, the final act is great. Pumped to see Grindelwald and Dumbledore battles. 8/10. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: This was the film that made me realise how much I loved them. Potter is chill af in the film (see GIFs below). The behavioural changes of nearing adulthood. The love complications and of course great 3rd act once again. The two films I watched before, though felt good but still left me indifferent for most. This awaken that sleeping Potter fan again. 8/10. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1: I loved it. The film tone is different from rest of franchise and it worked greatly for me. You get the feel that something really big and dark is happening all the time. The death of Dobby is tearjerker and set the stage for finale. 8/10. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2: So I finished Part 1 at half hour past midnight but was so pumped that couldn't resist watching Part 2 and that's when I have watched it at least 10-15 times. I can just imagine the hype when the film released. Snape's death and memory is always sad and teary. The goosebumps on hearing/watching Piertotum locomotor, the defense spells on Hogwarts before Battle. The magic still lives. 10/10. Movie (s) of the Week
  5. My ranking of the 2010s Disney Animation: Zootopia Moana Frozen Wreck-it Ralph Big Hero 6 Tangled Ralph Breaks the Internet Frozen II The first six were great, 7 okayish. 8th ehh.
  6. Vice versa for me. Except for Russos name, Extraction looks average, Defending Jacob seem good.
  7. Is Titanic eligible? Also if Lagaan is allowed, so shall be films like Wonder Woman, Captain America: TFA, First Class, etc.
  8. Pretty slow week for me so far. Only 3 films and 1 episode.
  9. What are you guys talking about. Loved the title. One, only "The Conjuring" matter. Two, always better to have something in words than numbers. Three, the phrase "Devil made me do it" is attached with the case too. Four, in many countries it will be marketed as "The Conjuring 3: Devil Made me do it" like "The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Case"
  10. If Lagaan or historical mob fictions are considered, FYC Gangs of Wasseypur Gangs of Wasseypur II Jodhaa Akbar (Trailer of late 2000s, badly cut but film is good, last I watched) Padmaavat (Great Trailer just Good film) Bajirao Mastani Devdas If they count Baahubali: The Beginning Baahubali: The Conclusion The Legend of Bhagat Singh - Biopic of India's most famous freedom fighter. Not the British hyped dick Gandhi.
  11. Baahubali 2 would have still missed (82 points on 6 lists, that's really good as Madhuvan had it very low, so the other 5 had it pretty high, anyways) Top 100 but would have jumped 38 places to 114. May be few other users and it might be in Top 100.
  12. If I knew about the list or had submitted the list, results would have been. Bold are the one which have changed ranking. 13. What a fuss. Only Spider Verse and Inside Out good so far in Top 10. Rest are 80-100 too high.
  14. Rewatched Prisoner Of Azkaban, barring the fact that its titled Harry Potter & Patronus sequence in third act, which also was drived by Hermione , it's a Hermione film 🤗. Harry was clueless most of the time in the film, it was Hermione saving the day. Till date, I am not able to rank Harry Potter films in any order except Deathly Hallows having the finale factor giving edge over others. All of them feels same to me. Excellent.
  15. The week started not really good. Watched Cabin in the Wood (below average) and The World's End (crap).
